very nice and charming house, great common spaces such as garden, terrace, eating room, cellar, etc. Super friendly personnel that made us feel at home immediately. In the heart of the small village of Arbois so all is walking distance. Excellent recommendations and a great place for wine lovers because of the connections with wineries in the region.

Ideal location in the heart of Arbois. Excellent breakfast. Elise, the hotel manager, was very welcoming; she's an ideal host. The grounds were beautiful as well and the wine available for purchase on property was excellent too. We had our 9 year old daughter with us, and while she was the only child at the hotel during the stay, we felt that she was very welcome.

The large room was comfortably furnished. The full breakfast offered a range of dishes and exceeded our expectations. The staff were friendly and happy to assist with any requirements.

As we are older guests, we would have preferred a room that did not require access via three sets of stairs.

Elise and Zélie are fantastic! The personal hospitality makes the stay so special. The warm greeting, responsiveness, fantastic breakfast, feeling of privacy yet being in a home shared by others was lovely. Our room was perfect and decor is charming and authentic. We highly recommend this property!

The whole experience was magical. From the town of Arbois, to the beautiful hotel and grounds. Breakfasts were absolutely delicious - and the service...wow - I feel like I made new friends! I'm looking forward to an extended trip some time in the future!

A tastefully refurbished old French homestead with an air of tranquility & close to town centre. The welcome & check out done perfectly & everyone so friendly.

Unfortunately we had 49 steps to our room so a little challenging for us senior citizens. When we eventually got there the bedroom was perfect!

Everything. Great location. Elise and Oceane are super helpful and prepared excellent breakfast. The place is absolutely gorgeous and well decorated. One of the best stay in the trip.

A beautiful small hotel renovated and refurbished very sympathetically to a very high standard. The garden and pool area was stunning with magnificent planting. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. Providing dinner is a new venture and it worked perfectly for us. The chef Jay Rodriguez and the sommelier Daniel did a wonderful job providing delicious food and paired wines.

Totally delightful hotel and staff! We'll be back and definitely will recommend to anyone visiting Arbois.

As Americans, we would have preferred a tub/shower combination that allowed us to stand up while using. But we know it's a cultural thing . . . .

Arbois is a lovely town in a beautiful location, surrounded by the Jura mountains and Closerie Les Capucines was the perfect place from which to enjoy it. Elise was the perfect host and the property is beautiful inside and out. We could have stayed for days if we had the time. A magical place.
