Excellent hotel, clean and tidy. Lovely views over the lake every day. Staff were lovely and friendly all week. One of the cleaning staff very kindly found us a fan for the room as it was very hot for the week. Special mention for Alicia who was absolutely fantastic for us, given my terrible attempts at speaking French she made it very easy for us to order, always smiling and again just made us feel so so welcome. Highly recommend this hotel.

The one tiny inconvenience was the location for access to Dunkerque itself. A taxi back at night cost is €25 on the first night but when we discovered that all buses in and around the town where totally free that certainly helped.

The staff went above and beyond to meet our expectations! We felt welcomed and enjoyed our stay so much! Thank you very much for making our stay such a great experience! The walk by the lake was so peaceful and beautiful! Our dog was welcomed, too! The whole atmosphere is relaxed, every member of staff we met was smiling, happy, ready to help. Great value for money. A special mention goes to the restaurant, starting with the chef and tasty dinner, to our beautiful waitress, who was awesome! She even taught us French a little ;).

The selection of milk for coffee could be more plentiful. It was only one milk and one condensated milk satchets on the tray. During breakfast, we've noticed it a few flies around food.

After a European roadtrip this was our last stop and it was the perfect place to end our holiday. Staff were amazing, nothing was too much trouble, travelling with children they ensured there was something for them to eat from the menu which was a god send. We loved every thing about this hotel, facilities were great, lovely setting but it was definitely the staff for us who work incredibly hard. Shout out to the head waiter and the waitress who worked on the eve of 23rd August you were both fantastic thank you for the incredible service!

Being close to the major road and motorway network, the location is great for those travelling onwards out of Dunkirk, though despite the close proximity to the roads, there was absolutely no road noise, and you could easily think you were somewhere much more remote. The rooms are quite basic and need a little updating, but in no way are they bad. They’re clean and well looked after, and comfortable enough for a night passing through. The staff are very polite and welcoming, and for those whose French is a little rusty, they all speak very good English, and are keen to help and support. The on-site restaurant is good, and the food very nice. The waiter was polite and knowledgeable, and made good recommendations on food and wine. Breakfast was good, and worth booking if you have a long day ahead. For what you get, it’s a good price for a good service. I’d stay here again if passing through Dunkirk. If, however, you’re staying in the area, you’d maybe want somewhere a little closer to the centre or the waterfront.

The views is splendid, the breakfast is very good with a big choice, and the rooms are always great where ever you are staying, calm quiet and well organised. and reception is very welcoming.... For me its a little gap in between work and holliday that i need to make longer to definatly unwind before the real holliday ....

the bathroom are now the next project that are in need of tackling even if i do like the luxury of the marble stone and their coolness in those hot summer month the winters one are pretty cold.... please keep on doing what you are doing and we love the price too so that help...

Very nice hotel located at a lake just outside Dunkirk. Free Parking, nice staff. The rooms are not so big but all you need is there and the bed is good. Bathroom is complete. Has a restaurant for diner, small bar for a drink in the evening and nice breakfast. Have to be in Dunkirk every once in a while, but for sure will return here.

Can imagine that on a warm French summer the rooms will be (uncomfortably) warm as there's no air conditioning. But now all was fine.

i was en route from Yorkshire to Italy and arrived late evening. the check in staff were friendly and very helpful and made us very welcome with a much needed beer. the rooms are comfortable and quiet so i had a good nights sleep before an early start on the second leg of our trip. the breakfast buffet is basic but good

I was travelling across Europe to catch the Eurotunnel train in the morning, so arrived quite late, the staff were very helpful, l had requested a ground floor room and all was arranged without any problems. Parking is available around the hotel the location is perfect for travelling.

I really liked this for a short stop off, although for breakfast it would of been nice to have a couple of warm items, there was only scrambled eggs as a warm option.

We booked the room for one night as we took the ferry the next morning to Dover. The location was perfect as we didn’t need to drive through Dunkirk. The room was very quiet and comfortable. The bathroom facilities were good and so was the lighting.

Breakfast was not great and there wasn‘t much selection.

Very helpful reception lady sorted out a muddle with the room with a double bed swiftly turned into a room with two beds! Complementary drinks offered as an apology.
