Definitely location was excellent. We're visiting from Australia so we wanted a place closeby to the attractions but not smack bang in the middle of Times Square or it would be too busy! Great spot for public transportation too. Staff: friendly, helpful. Got us what we needed. Cleanliness: everything was clean, and they changed our towels/linen daily which was appreciated. Bed was very comfy. THERE WAS A MICROWAVE!

The rooms were far too small, and the hallways way too narrow for what the pictures imagined. I understand its NYC but definitely take that into consideration. Coming from the other side of the world, we were travelling with a lot of luggage so trying to fit everything in was difficult. Wish there was more hanging space especially for coats/jackets since we came in winter. Also note: entrance was a little odd, but I think it was due to renovations happening.

The location is great - you are in mid-town Manhattan, within a 20 min walk from the Times Square and Broadway, so you can explore a lot on foot. We had a room on the 31st floor and the view was just breathtaking! The room itself was clean and comfortable, and the breakfast had a variety of options. Recommended!

It would have been nice to have more space in the room for hanging and storing clothes - there were only a few hangers and no shelves at all, so we essentially had to keep our stuff in the suitcases during the entire time. In addition, the waiting time for the elevators was sometimes quite long, especially at breakfast time.

Honestly we were pleasantly surprised and think that this hotel deserves better ratings. Here is why: ✅ great location ✅ great staff ✅ breakfast included in price ✅ right next to metro ✅ good views from the room

Room size is decent for NYC standards and has practical layout.

the breakfast was good. they offered a very wide variety. the only problem was that we NEVER got any coffee because they ran out of coffee in the lobby and coffee in the breakfast room every morning, and multiple times. The location was good for everything we wanted to do.

the price was NOT what I was quoted on booking.com. The room rate on booking was $428 plus tax per night. When we checked out, our first two mights were charged at $639. My total bill for three nights (including taxes) was $1,968. That was way above what I was quoted on booking.com. When I questioned the rate at check out, they told me I would need to take that up with booking.com.

Lovely room, very comfortable bed (coming from someone who suffers with back pain!), great location for Times Square and of course the Empire State Building. Subway at the end of the street that will take you downtown and uptown. Reception staff were very friendly and helpful. Housekeeping came round every day with fresh towels and supplies, they were also very friendly when you leave your room in the morning! Room isn't huge despite paying extra for a room upgrade but when you just need somewhere to crash after miles of walking for the day it's a welcome sight.

The race for breakfast. The room in which breakfast is collected is too small for the amount of guests that stay at the hotel. It was so overwhelming and rushed. My husband decided to not bother with breakfast there everyday because he found it too frustrating.

The hotel was in a great location for us as it wasn’t right in the centre, but not too far out to still be in walking distance of most attractions. The buffet breakfast exceeded expectations and the hotel was always lovely and clean. The staff were inviting and helpful, constantly giving out water to guests when they were entering or leaving the hotel for the day. The room was a decent size and having a little fridge allowed us to keep water bottles cool.

It would have been nice to have some pastries such as croissants available as after staying for 8 nights the breakfasts became quite boring and samey.

Location near a subway and Chelsea district was great. Rooms were clean and we had a view as requested. Staff excellent. Beds were very comfortable. Breakfast was included which was good.

Small rooms but that is New York. Double beds were small but very comfortable.

Everything around our stay was really welcoming. Staff at reception was welcoming, staff managing breakfast was really kind, especially considering how busy it was in some moments (we never had to wait for the table though). The room was very clean, same as the bathroom. We got a nice view looking at the city Buffet breakfast was great and it made our stay in NY easier (and cheaper!). Tip: if you see waffles, get them on day 1, we had them only 1/6 days :D.

The ventilation in the room was noisy and the lag between changing the mode and ventilation changing something was quite long (cca minute). It wasn't that loud that we wouldn't be able to sleep so we didn't even ask to look into it. Sometimes we'd have to wait for elevators for few minutes.

Access to all most of place to see .very clean and new hotel.friendly staff.good value.

Lobby very small.Breakfast was ok but not perfect .not to much selection to eat. I think need to reduce traffic in elevators ,since people push bottom all four elevators to go up or down ..it is much better to split odd number only use two elevator and other rooms use other two elevators to reduce wait time and traffic .

Great location, easilly accessible by metro or by short walk from Penn station. Nice and friendly staff, especially on reception. View of lower Manhattan and Statue of Liberty from room's windows. Clean, modern hotel. Rooms equiped by microwawe, fridge, safe.

We missed wardrobe in room. Crowdy breakfast, but compensated with option to take breakfast in box up to the room - this was good idea
