This hotel is just across the bridge, and so a short walk, from Old Town. As the name suggests it is a budget hotel but it is very clean and comfortable. There are no room amenities beside air con & TV but the bed is comfy and the bathroom good. Breakfast is simple and consisted of bread, pastries, fruit, coffee/tea/juice etc. all of which were excellent. It is easy walking distance from the station. For the price it’s great value!

Fantastic location in the centre of Auxerre with easy free parking. Lovely clean, fresh-looking room, and an excellent bathroom. Very friendly staff, and a really good value breakfast. We would thoroughly recommend this hotel for an overnight stop.

Tea and coffee making facilities in the room would be an improvement, although there was a machine in reception.

Location was spectacular. Views from our room were amazing. Bathroom was very well appointed. Beds comfortable and all ea s clean and thoughtful. Excellent pricing. Will come back for a longer stay.

Colour scheme in room was garish. Would have appreciated a few English tv channels. It is very hard to fault this hotel, and I have broadcast this on Facebook !

It was run efficiently by the staff and the breakfast was good as expected.The location was excellent and we secured parking in the car park which was a bonus. No complaints apart from NO Decaf Coffee for breakfast!!

All good apart for being out of decaf coffee. It should be an option from the coffee machine.

Ibis is a budget hotel, but that's fine with us, all we need is a clean, comfortable hotel bedroom, and everything else was a bonus

Very convenient place to stay overnight. Staff were very friendly and the rooms were spotless. Great value for money.

A kettle in the room would have been nice but I understand this is a budget hotel which is reflected in the price.

Centre of town with parking, easy to navigate to. Location is right on the river and opposite the old medieval town of Auxerre, a 5 minute walk away.

The room we had was functional but quite small with minimal hanging space for clothes. OK for 1-2 nights but maybe not for longer stays.

Everything was good.

Clean, had parking and great location. Central enough to walk in to centre, far enough for easy access and quiet. Does what it says on tin.

Only one pillow per person. Small towels. Otherwise good.

Location and premises were good. There was also secure parking for the motorcycles. A really good bar next to the hotel too.

Maybe more shelves or cupboard space or coat hooks.........
