This is a quirky and retro little gem. Original features mixed with modern comforts. We loved the nostalgic mood and use of local and homemade produce. The welcoming owner spent time chatting about places to visit as well as the history of the area. For families it is lovely to have a separate bedroom / seating area. A fridge is a bonus and so close to the airport in a quiet part of Beauvais makes me recommend this home from home without hesitation.
Nothing. A car is beneficial and free street parking is easy.

This is a stay in Jean-Pierre's home. Jean-Pierre is lovely and speaks English (for those of us not fluent in French). The bedroom is typically French and has a large double bed, there is a separate single bedroom with a couple of sitting chairs, and through that a lovely, large en-suite bathroom. It comprises the first floor above an old shop, which is situated in a quiet district about 2km (25 mins walk) from the centre. The breakfast was good.
Parking is on-street and was busy at times, but there was plenty of availability a couple of streets away.

This gorgeous little place was just what we needed en route from the Tunnel to our destination further south. We booked a family room which has a private bathroom but (wonderful!) a separate room for our 15 year old son. Jean-Pierre was a marvellous host and I would really recommend looking at the scrapbook folder he has put together about the renovations and local area. There's on street parking outside the B&B, so we walked into town (1.5-2 miles) which is also a fascinating place, having been mostly razed by fire in June 1940 (more info from the 'library' in our room!) and found a nice place to eat (Boui boui, good food, not expensive). The bed was very comfy, and there are lots of plug sockets. Good wifi! Shower was a real treat and the room is decorated to a very high standard with lots of original features. Breakfast was croissants, bread, meats, yogurts and extras, with jams home made by a local elderly lady. I want to give more than 5 stars!
There was nothing to criticise on my part. People not prepared to walk into town have a few local places to eat round the corner.

If you want the French experience, this is a lovely place. The rooms are lovely and very homely. The continental breakfast was lovely as was our host. A nice stay.
The room is up in the attic and being an old building, there is not alot of space for stairs. If you have large luggage, the VERY narrow stairs are difficult to maneuver. This is the only down side, everything else is lovely.

The accommodation was an experience in itself. The house dates back to the late 18th century and John Pierre was an exceptional host. The breakfast spread was delicious with plenty of choice and the room was spacious and cosy and very unique. The garden was beautiful and it was a good location, only a short ride away from the airport and city centre.

A hidden gem in the beautiful Beauvais. Had a wonderful feeling about our stay the-minute we met with Jean Pierre. Breakfast was sliced crusty rolls and a croissant, the highlight being home made jam ❤️. When we arrived it was 36 degrees and the mug of chilled cider was a delight and much appreciated, thank you JP.
If I had to say anything it would be to maybe serve some delicious French cheese at breakfast.

Excellent breakfast. Lots of choice. Fresh milk for cereal and tea. Fruit, yogurt, croissants, bread etc Jean Pierre was a very attentive host The room was wonderful. I wasn’t expecting a suite of rooms, 3 of us could have stayed in it. Lovely bathroom
It was all perfect. A half hour walk to the centre, but that was fine, through quiet streets

What a great place!! A nice Owner welcomed us warm, although we came late, not informing about the estimated time of arrival. The owner speaks English (although it was not neccesary for our familly) - that is very unusual in France ;) The breakfast was perfect - and everything in the appartment was perfect and bautiful!! All the details were beautiful :) The street that the place is located by - is very quiet and the part of the city also is worth to be seen. Hope to come back here again!
Everything was great! There is nothing to complain about :) Hope to come back again!

A very authentic place, spacious rooms and a welcoming host. The breakfast was also fresh and tasty.
The place is a little further away from the airport and around 20 minutes walking distance from the city center.

We had a super stay at the property. The host, Jean-Pierre, was an absolute gentleman, friendly and helpful, with lots of stories about the property, the area, and local cultural events. We were treated to wonderful music from downstairs during the day. The property was absolutely charming, with beautiful decor, and was comfortable and clean. The breakfast was a wonderful selection of fresh local food served in a pretty room. We loved our stay and we'll definitely be back!
