We loved this hotel for a host of different reasons. We’re cycling in a heatwave so the air conditioned room felt wonderful. It was clean, comfortable with a big sliding door opening onto the garden. I think all rooms have this. The pool was large and clean and the lake was beautiful. We had a great meal there as well. But the biggest plus we want to give is the fact that my husband left his credit cards there. He realised about 30 minutes into our uphill cycle ride and we didn’t want to turn back. So we called and the wonderful owner picked up his cards and drove to meet us in a nearby town. Wow. She was exceptionally kind. We liked her vivacity anyway, and this was that extra step not make would make.

Very warm welcome to the hotel. Good pool with sun loungers. Good menu choice for dinner. Attentive to the room problem we had. Everything we needed for an overnight stop.

Unfortuneately we stayed in the fly season which was a shame and nothing that the holel could do although they did warn us and put as many measures as they could to reduce the annoyance.

Fantastic owner Melanie Robert was very helpful and friendly during our 6 night stay and was even helpful on a private problem which arose during our visit.

The owner, Mélanie, could not be more helpful. Her English is also excellent, which made things a lot easier considering my French is not great. The location is idillic, with the river that flows along the back of the property. The hotel and room were cleaned to a very good standard and the food was superb. The pool was kept very clean and even had an inflatable Unicorn readily available to float around on. I will definitely be returning to this hotel.

There were a couple of flies in the room. That’s all I’ve got!

Didn't have breakfast but have to say it did look good. Enjoyed the pool and a drink from the bar.

No staff around when we first arrived but there was a local car fête on at the same time. Staff very helpful other than that. On-line reception poor, we were told due to the local activities.

Beautiful hotel in a peaceful river side setting with a pool. The rooms were immaculate & comfortable. The staff were extremely friendly & welcoming. Great location for travellers break.

beautiful, unique and special property with an outstanding host (Melanie) who went well above and beyond what could be expected to make our stay comfortable and enjoyable.

A wonderful five nights stay. Melanie and her husband simply could not do any more for us. It’s always a pleasure to stay here with excellent food and friendly service. Can’t wait to come again.
