I booked a room about 50 minutes before I arrived in Bourg-en-Bresse. The room was clean, the staff were pleasant and the breakfast was included (unusual for France) and it was a great breakfast! Very happy with the stay overall.

The en-suite in my room was very small. I am 5'10" and relatively slim and had trouble moving around in it. Also, the aircon wasn't working - this may just have been my room.

The reception staff were friendly, efficient and spoke excellent English. Room basic but clean. Breakfast very good. Perfect location for the town centre. The staff had a town plan with eight restaurants marked that were within two or three hundred yards. Good parking.

The location was great. Also the staff was extremely friendly. The room was quite large.

Unfortunately there were barely any vegan breakfast options at the buffet (not even any plant based milk). I suppose this is a general issue in the ibis chain.

The room was decently clean and comfortable. Excellent quality of bed and pillows. The breakfast was humble, enough choices but not something to write home about. Staff are very friendly and speak English and French. The location is very central and there are many restaurants around, In front of the hotel, there is a big parking which during the night is for free.

convenient place close to center. With private parking place. we used it for a 1 night stop over. Spacious family room.

was expecting a budget hotel, and it largely was. breakfast was unexpectedly excellent. very happy with that. staff was very friendly. the hotel is also very close to the city centre, everything is in walking distance. would book again.

The very helpful staff helped me contact family and my overseas mobile service provider after I had a problem with my smartphone. Saved me a lot of hassle and stress. This is what earned them a good score. Otherwise the hotel was nice and clean as is to be expected. The breakfast was good, with a takeaway coffee available which is handy.

The phone in my room didn't work.

Lukewarm water in early evening, but in the morning it was hot enough to shower properly. Bathroom space is a bit crumped.
