No eggs for breakfast - for most people not an issue, but for me eggs must be at breakfast on the table. Location is, as I said, next to the freeway, so not the prettiest of areas. But you can't fault them on that - you know beforhand. The carpet could have been more clean.

Basic room but very comfortable bed (excellent mattress topper!). Very friendly, extremely helpful staff member at check-in (Thomas). Wonderful fresh breakfast with quality ingredients.

Would be nice to have tea and coffee-making facilities in the room, although staff more than happy to fill a thermos. Animal supplement out of proportion to supplementary effort required (if any) - would avoid returning for this reason only (Many hotels now do not charge for this, unless there's damage)

We liked the overall comfortable atmosphere of the hotel. Staff were friendly and obliging. We liked being able to make a drink in the bar/restaurant. Great to have use of a pool. No complaints at all!

The only thing to make it better would have been tea/coffee making facilities in the room but not a major problem as we could help ourselves in the bar.

The room and bed were very clean comfortable. Check in was efficient.

The breakfast choice was varied and clearly trying to look 'high class'. The bread/croissants and cereals were good but then there was fruit coulis and coconut cream with chia seeds, various cheeses and cold meats. However almost none of that was taken by guests. Some of the cheese and meat looked like it had been offered for some time with no takers. At the same time, the basics, apart from the bread and cereal, were poor. Machine pack "orange juice" (yellow sharp tasting water) and coffee machine output not much better than a US motel. Sorry but really these two basics are way more important, at least to us.

The staff were helpful and friendly, the room was immaculate and had everything I needed. I had a couple of beers at the bar and the service was excellent. Self service breakfast was really nice - had everything I wanted.

This might be our second or perhaps third time staying here on our way from Calais to StTropez. Its ideal as it's just off the Route de Soleil. Super friendly check in and out. Very clean room with a great shower. More than adequate breakfast buffet. A great place for an overnight break when driving to the Cote d'Azur.

Very friendly and helpful staff, large and comfortable room, WLAN available, supermarket closed to the hotel.

Food in restaurant was disappointing (ordered a medium steak and it came more than well done), price for this food to much, highway runs directly behind the hotel.

Having to read menu on a phone

We particularly liked the very friendly and efficient staff. We had dinner at the restaurant and it was better than we had expected. good location when you’re on a road stop.

The restaurant was a little too crowded with no open windows for our taste, but that had to do with the new, less strict sanitary measures.

Excellent location and the swimming pool was an added bonus, especially as we could have drinks by the side of the pool.

Limited dinner opportunity as it was a Sunday.
