We have used this hotel several times ( twice in the last few months) and it has everything that we need for a stopover point ( on our to Calais). The hotel is right in the old centre of town with easy access to restaurants and bars, a few minutes walk away. It has excellent and well organised parking and is only about ten minutes drive from the A26. The staff are excellent and have on each occassion ,that we have stayed, made restaurant recommendations and reservations in advance.

The price this time seamed an great deal more than on the previous occassions. I don't know if this is because it was a Saturday ? Still a good choice.

Clean, comfartable

Rooms can be too warm, this can be solved by mounting a propeller on sealing. This way one does not need to use airco in night during sleep (sleeps better with windows open. Which is more comfartable and better for environment. With change climate it gets warmer in buildings with propellers this csn be solved. Also plant trees on parking spot and gras on sealing. Just to consider.

All as described , parking at additional cost , very secure , room was lovely , we booked late on the same day as arrival , the lady at the front desk could not have been any more helpful ( we forgot our plug for France ) , very quiet location even though we where in the middle of the city .

Lovely rooms with smart decor, comfortable beds, clean and contemporary bathroom, friendly reception. My daughter used the fitness room and used the treadmill.

We had to pay extra for off street parking. Breakfast was also additional to room rate. Would rather see a rate that includes those so I can make a like for like comparison with alternatives.

very friendly and helpful staff. We don't speak French and relied heavily on them for bookings etc. No request was too much trouble. Even after checking out, when we had problems at the train station, we were able to call them and they helped us get back on track.

The property as a whole was excellently presented and the staff were so helpful. The lady at breakfast made a total fuss of our dog too. I was very happy that they put us in a car-park level room for those doggy essential trips

The air conditioning was not up to the job for August

What a little gem of a hotel within walking distance of the market, shops, restaurants and sites. And what a lovely little town Chalons is! The hotel was very personal and staff took great care to make sure we were well looked after. Breakfast was excellent. The parking was very convenient for us as we were there just overnight. We wish we had had longer to enjoy this lovely hotel and town.

Booking.com changed my search for hotels from 2 persons to 1 person which meant we booked the room for one instead of two. The cancellation policy on booking.com email stated that we would loose our deposit if room cancelled and re-booked to correct which was untrue

Breakfast was great, room was lovely and very comfortable. Friendly staff. Main town close enough for a walk, personalise parking space to ensure availability.

Some of the add ons were a bit expensive (for pet and parking) but not the worst.

Room very clean with my car parked outside the room. Staff v friendly. Although I was travelling through, I loved the location in town where i could walk the dog along the river and eat at various restaurants

i would not have been able to stay without parking as my car was packed and it would hae been too risky to leave outside the parking lot
