The Originals City, Hotel Alteora, Poitiers Site du Futuroscope (Inter-Hotel)

The hotel is a short walk from Futuroscope - about 15 minutes. This was also our goal for the trip to Poitiers. We communicated with the hotel that we would arrive earlier than the regular check-in time of 15:00 so that could enjoy our visit to Futuroscope. This was arranged for by the hotel, and our room was already available at 13:00 which was highly appreciated. The hotel staff is very friendly and helpful. The room was clean and comfortable. Wifi worked without problems. The hotel pool is very nice especially since it was very hot (30 C).

There is not really anything to mention that we did not like. We would definitely consider booking this hotel again if we would go here again.

Plenty of breakfast still available at 09:40 ... Mini-golf. Able to book a table for dinner a day in advance, and then bring the booking forward when we arrived earlier than expected. Connecting rooms for a family of five.

At dinner, I asked for a cup of tea. The hot water and cup arrived, and I was offered a selection of fruit-teas, but no english tea - they said they had none. Fortunately I had one of my own in my pocket. The next morning at breakfast, english tea was available! Only two cereals available at Breakfast - some muesli would have been great....

We really enjoyed our room, it was clean and tidy and quiet. Also great it had a large window to get the fresh evening air in. The front desk staff was great, and even helped us cancel a booking we’d made by mistake. So appreciated! The whole place, apart from the pool, is clean and well kept.

The pool was really dirty with a lot of hair and stuff floating around, and also extremely crowded by wild kids with absent parents. We didn’t even go in, too disgusting. That was a disappointment after a long day on the road. The hotel would benefit a lot from having staff out by the pool and also clean it more regularly.

Close to futuroscope- 5/10min walk with a yellow line just outside entrance that takes you there (handy for walking back too), lots of entertainment for children- games room that you pay for tokens to use and free crazy golf and swimming pool which is a good size and not too deep for little ones. Rooms clean and functional. Friendly staff.

No kettle in room - sometimes you just need a cuppa after a long day, vending machine expensive.

The second room we had was excellent its was an upgrade as the room they originally gave us wasn't cleaned or beds made when we opened the door. Not a good start so having complained we were upgraded. My rating is based on the upgrade. Lots of free parking available .

Can't really comment as we only stayed the one night and didn't eat in. The only slight negative is that the decor is getting a bit tired. This didn't really bother us .

This hotel was in a great location. EV charging points right outside the door which was perfect. The bed was very comfortable and perfect for an overnight stop. Can highly recommend the Boulangerie across the road if you don’t want to spend much money on breakfast in the morning 

No tea or coffee, making facilities in the room.

convenient for our onwards journey to Spain , restaurant food was good,comfortable bed, our dog was free

you struggled to get in the shower as the shower door would not open because the hairdryer holder was in the way and the door would not open inwards , if you were a large person you would have no chance of getting into the shower

Extremely efficient, fastest check in I have ever experienced. Staff work really hard and are very attentive. Good restaurant, Top class hotel. Comfortable room and beds. Probably the best value hotel I have ever stayed in

There was absolutely nothing to dislike. A bit difficult to find, but Google maps took us to the door

Hotel great . Interconnecting rooms for 5. Beds comfy and groom decent size. Shower good and bathroom size OK too. Hairdryer, pool towels too. Large window that fully opens aswell as AC. Kids enjoyed pool, games room (charges) and free mini golf. Husband enjoyed gym. Restaurant and bar nice. Breakfast good but pricey. Near to Futurescope if you're going there.

Some building work still going on which we understood would be finished before our stay . Didn’t disrupt us much thankfully
