Family room was perfect, 2 single beds were separated from the master double. Aircon and fridge were helpful features. Breakfast room and restaurant were lovely looking. Breakfast selection was varied and good quality, reservation was needed. Outdoor courtyard offered somewhere chilled to relax after a long journey. Congratulations they deserved were delicious, with cocktails offered as well. Easy access from motorway makes it perfect for stops mid travels. Quality of hotel would be good for a longer stay.

Restaurant had fabulous reviews and was one of the reasons for choosing the hotel, however it's closed on a Monday, the day we were there.

The room was spacious and facilities very good. Excellent night’s sleep even with church bells. Centrally set in pretty small town. Good restaurant nearby. Lovely building with stained glass windows.

Hotel restaurant was closed (annual holidays which we were aware of before booking)sadly but the hotel arranged a table at a local restaurant which was good.

Initially I wasn't sure about this hotel, it seemed to be rather old fashioned and somewhere that had lost its sparkle/appeal over the years. To a degree this was true, a little old fashioned in the check in & lobby areas but the room was nicely finished with a view over roof tops. Stairs were old and creaky, but the dining room was very nicely finished. It was still old fashioned but not in a bad way with excellent food served. Even the budget option was served as though it was the most expensive selection, beautifully presented. Fantastic list of wines available and the staff were excellent and extremely polite.

Bathroom a bit small with no natural light.

We stopped off en route to Bordeaux, absolutely ideal, easy parking which was free ‘ le weekend’. We asked for ground floor room as we aren’t too keen on stairs and that was great. Sitting in the courtyard with a kit royale was fabulous after a long journey. The meal was delicious and the local white wine wonderful.

I have stayed here before and returned for 2 reasons. Firstly the restaurant is really excellent and I had a fabulous dinner. Secondly the hotel is within easy reach of the ferry to Caen.

It was all great. Be aware that there is no lift, but I was helped with my case so that wasn’t a problem for me.

Good position for our travel plans. Logis Hotels are usually a standard I require. Good breakfast..

Slippery shower floor. Room on second floor with no lift accessible by very old winding staircase. Very difficult for elderly guests carrying suitcases with no offer of help. Couldn’t understand the policy of room allocation as younger fitter guests were on a lower floor

Excellent location in the centre of town. This hotel appears to have been recently refurbished with contemporary decor whilst retaining the character of the building. Staff were very welcoming and helpful. Dinner in the restaurant was excellent and very reasonably priced.

A good hotel for one night. The rooms were spacious and clean. A bonus to have a fridge and botted water in the room plus a kettle for making drinks. The restaurant was very good.

As there is no parking on site could be difficult if not staying over a weekend. There was some confusion over the rooms I had booked but it was sorted out successfully.

Very spacious clean, airy room. Convenient to motorway. Coffee and tea facilities in room. Excellent restaurant with masterchef quality cuisine. Helpful, friendly staff. Room key and welcome note left on desk at reception when staff not available on arrival.

Car park free at weekends and evening but paying at other times. Large car park dominates hotel view.

Customer service - staff all fantastic, attentive and friendly. Food simply superb. Don’t be put off by the exterior.

Bedrooms lack same character as rest of property but being picky as they were comfortable and clean with air con.
