Really nice hotel for a stopover. The hotel was clean and the room was compact but well appointed. The secure parking was great as were the staff and Breakfast was plentiful.

The only minor point was that we found it difficult to find somewhere to eat in the evening as they all appeared to be closed which was odd for a Saturday night! That obviously isn’t the hotels fault but it’s worth bearing in mind

It was a quick overnight stop, booked at the last minute and could not have been easier. Easy check in, underground, secure parking. The room was quiet, clean, comfortable and the breakfast was fab. Location was perfect to head out for a bite to eat (recommend Grain de Sel restaurant down the road) and to go for a run in the morning before heading on.

I was all absolutely great

The perfect stop-over between Calais and the French Alps. We have stayed many times and it's always great - the check-in staff are friendly and efficient (however late we arrive), the rooms are always spotless, the breakfasts plentiful (good choice) and dinners in the restaurant are tasty (place often full of locals). We always book a suite for our family of 4 - the beds are very comfortable and there's plenty of room.

Great location with covered secure parking (extra cost) . A dog friendly hotel that allows you to take dogs into the restaurant, too. Important when travelling solo. Very spacious room , super comfy bed, and linen. . Large bathroom.

We picked this hotel, among other things, for its on-site restaurant as advertised on booking. We might’ve arrived late as we were traveling through home after the vacation and liked the idea of a quick diner on-site so the kids could go to bed straight afterwards. The very polite staff told us the restaurant “was closed during the summer”, which was overcome by a quick visit to the McDonalds a block away.

Brilliant secure parking. They gave us the best room in the place though we had only booked a 'normal' one.

Nasty smell of drains in the stairwell. usually we always use stairs rather than the lift but here we made an exception!

Great location for a stop on the way home. staff really helpful and welcoming. it was 33c when we arrived so big room and air con was just right. nice restaurant as part of the hotel. sits in a part pedestrian area with own parking so you can get out for a wander through shops n bars before dinner

was a bit convoluted getting to our room but that was to ensure we had a nice quiet one away from street

Clean nice location and breakfast selection. Easy to park our car in the secure garage for a small charge.Great value for the money!

The finishes are not luxurious but we didn’t expect that at this price.

A very convenient location in the centre of town. Secure parking for my motorcycle. Spotlessly clean room. A good French breakfast. Excellent WiFi. A very helpful receptionist.

It would have been nice to have tea/coffee making facilities in the room.

Central hotel in historic town. Parking on offer but we managed ok in a public carpark nearby, which was free from 1800 to 0900 hours. Exceptionally large room, comfy bed. excellent choice for dinner (do book, it was packed !), and good breakfast

No spare pillows in bedroom. Woken at 0530 by bin collectors in street
