Very nice "boutique/independent" hotel. Decor is very Art Deco but tastefully done and it makes a nice change from bland walls in other hotels. Clean room with good aircon and modern bathroom. Separate toilet. Breakfast was really good with a wide choice of things, including bacon and eggs. Reasonably priced breakfast. The hotel is just off a busy motorway and is set back from the road so is nice and quiet, with a garden. We had a lovely walk along the river side. Very helpful and pleasant staff and the room was quite large and very clean.

Not sure why the hotel staff are hung up about mosquitoes? We walked by the river on a very hot june day and didnt see any. Also didnt see any in the hotel itself but there were notices about them and the staff reminded us not to have the windows to the room open in the evening?

Location - Just off A71, but set back from main roads in wooded area on the banks of The Loire river. Pretty views from windows. Lovely garden area. Very quiet. Ample restaurants within walkable distance. Auchan petrol station nearby. Facilities - Modern decor and bathrooms. Large rooms. Comfortable beds (once asked for extra pillow). Good air con. Beer, wine and soft drinks can be purchased and taken in garden or breakfast room. Breakfast was very good. Good quality continental fare plus lovely scrambled eggs and bacon. An ideal stopover hotel when travelling through france, a bit different from the generic stopover hotels.

Fair warning is given not to open windows due to mosquitoes. But air con in our room was very good so not too much of a problem. Bit of an issue in the bathroom when showering in the morning as no extraction of steam so had to open window briefly. Could be a problem at night with light/ mosquito issue.

Friendly family-run hotel. Room was spacious and nicely decorated (although the pale carpet was marked by muddy shoes/luggage). Great bathroom and walk-in shower. Breakfast choice was excellent and tasty. Loved the quiet garden and the nearby river walks to exercise the dog. Nearby restaurant Courte Paille do good quick meals if the next-door Cote Saveurs is closed. Nearby supermarkets to stock up on groceries, if needed. We will return.

The garden was a little unkempt (eg: old car dumped) and would benefit from a light tidy-up. But we appreciated the natural vibe to the garden and woodland areas.

Although on a main road the hotel is tucked away and very quiet. Plenty of parking. Excellent breakfast, hot shower, quality bed linen and well appointed room. Slept soundly so it was useful that breakfast went on until 9.30am. Couldn't fault the hotel and staff and would stay again.

Only two towels between us which is tricky if you are female and wash your hair and shower. We did mention this the next morning and extra towels are available on request. Would be useful to know this at check in stage.

Wonderful location, modern and close to the autoroute

We have stayed in two different rooms in the last two weeks and note: 1. No english speaking channels on the tv - even CNN International would suffice. 2. In both rooms the shower rooms were fantastic, but both let down by the fact that the showerheads both needed a good descale/clean as the spray pattern is terrible - more of a dribble. 3. This last visit we did not have any hand towels either.

The hotel was in a quiet area off the main road but close to the motorway. The staff were very helpful. The room was close to the front door so we could take the dog out easily. The shower was good

Having a dog it is hard when it is raining with a cream coloured carpet. We arrived on a Sunday evening and it was difficult to find anywhere to get something to eat locally.

This hotel was a lovely surprise! It saved us driving through Orleans, situated just moments from the motorway but right on the Loire river. We were warmly welcomed, and the host helped carry our bags upstairs (unfortunately there was no lift.) The building is nicely modernised with quirky but attractive decor, a broad easy staircase; it was light and spacious. Best of all we had time to walk from the terrace out through a gate to wander right down to the river's edge and see a great flock of herons and swans! A truly beautiful spot! The breakfast room is airy, overlooking the spacious garden, and the breakfast plentiful and a varied choice. Recommended! And, though the hotel doesn't provide dinner, there are 2 of the most highly recommended restaurants in Orleans right there! We ended up in P'tit Bouch' which was warmly welcoming, and the food delicious!

A slightly down-town feel in the immediate area, until you drive into the grounds. Some building work next-door had just hit the sewers, so the smell in the street was gross, but merely temporary, I'm sure, and it didn't carry to the hotel at all!

Firstly the staff could not be any more welcoming or helpful, the hotel was lovely inside and had suitable grounds for taking our dog for a walk, I highly recommend this hotel if you have a dog, there is no onsite restaurant at night, but the owner gave us a discount coupon for a restaurant nearby that welcomed dogs and had great food.

It would have been nice to have a bar in the hotel for a glass of wine in the evening, but we may have not been aware of this. Saying that there were places nearby.

Hôtel is in a lovely location overlooking the Loire and the garden was a perfect spot to enjoy a glass of wine after dinner. Very good, well presented and fresh breakfast (best croissants)! with added bonus of scrambled eggs and bacon all served in a delightful breakfast room far removed from the very clinical bare versions found in some of the larger chain hotels. We were cycling the Eurovelo route 6 so had some particular preferences: Room was reasonably sized to be able to "spread out", nice sized bathroom, good breakfast with a variety of food including scrambled eggs which seems to be rather rare in establishments in this price range on our tour so far (10 nights). Aldi across the road and a large garden with tables and chairs so a picnic dinner is possible. Capsule coffee machine in the room.

None of these issues are the fault of the hotel but did taint the experience somewhat: quite a lot of midges and mosquitos so the hotel suggests not to open the windows. The route to the hotel was quite hectic because of heavy traffic and very poor cycle routing on the western outskirts the city. If traveling by car this is not an issue but for cyclists I would caution this location.
