Good size room Water in room in fridge Car Park Location to to the town

Always have to wait at the bar for a long time to be served Busy in hotel to maximum and one person seemed to be working in restaurant and bar at the same time. Do not like at all paper cups to have a cup of tea in the morning. Wooden spoons I dislike also I do not get this in cheaper hotels Water was in the kettle when we got there Bed had to be moved back to the headboard as not pushed back after making up Missing something of the back of the bathroom door and big square wooden piece on a white door

The bar and the breakfast area were nicely renovated. My daughter enjoyed the pool although the water was a bit cold. The staff were nice and friendly. The beds were comfortable. It was a short walk to the city center, although there was not much to see, but it was beautiful. You can definitely feel that it had a rich past.

The hallways and even the lift looks dated. They have to be renovated like the ground floor. You need to pay for parking even for the outdoor parking, it should have been free considering the rates of the hotel. The city, although beautiful, had a lot of "loiterers" along the streets, made us feel uncomfortable.

Good location for our journey to SW. Big room overlooking the R Loire. Very comfortable bed. Lift for those less mobile. Good parking. V good food I restaurant. Excellent waiter in restaurant. Dog made welcome

Very rude welcome to the restaurant : the person welcoming us made us wait while taking two incoming phone calls, not even saying hello, while my husband was obviously uncomfortable as on crutches after an accident. Also, ridiculously in this day and age, no power points near the bed for phone charging etc. In fact not many power points at all. Decor a bit in need of new paint in bathroom

We have staying in this hotel many times before and were pleased to see the renovation had been finished. The superb restaurant had reopened and the pool area looks amazing.

Breakfast was supposed to be served until 10.00, but when came down for our breakfast at 9.00, there was nothing left. No scrambled eggs , very little bread, no croissants , no cheese. There were no cups for the coffee machine, etc...etc.. Three members of staff were setting up the tables for dinner, none noticed the empty breakfast buffet. All this for €19 per person!!

The location was fantastic, right along the Loire with its walking and bike path. The breakfast area and breakfast were superb. The ground floot has been renovated to a very high standard.

The room let us down as it was very old fashioned with the decor. There was no wifi available nor were there any USB ports in the room to plug our cell phones in to charge. Saying this, I was told at reception that the hotel will be doing the room renovations the end of the year.

We have been coming to this hotel for many years twice a year. It has been tastefully improved and the restaurant is superb! I always come home with new ideas of dishes we enjoyed. This time the staff were very knowledgeable regarding the food and wine. Lovely pool and ambiance. Little details like water in the fridge soap dispensers in the shower and handrails! Bravo!

Nothing we could find

Super dog friendly - perfect location for a stopover whilst travelling through France. Everything you need - comfy beds, secure parking, nice bar and restaurant, friendly staff. Bonus if you have a dog it’s opposite the Loire with a nice grassy area for walkies. I would use to stop over again.

Nothing. Don’t let a 1960s block exterior put you off.

Very spacious comfortable room which we were able to access early. Easy to find and good outside parking and a lovely short walk along the Loire to shops and cafes. Between 5 and 10 mins. Helpful, friendly reception

As advertised, under refurbishment …. Can’t wait to return when it is completed. Our room had a big picture window and some view of the river, but also overlooked the big roads so couldn’t open window at night. Good room temperature so no big deal, but go for a front view, avoiding big roads if you can.

Newly refurbished, very modern , although seating uncomfortable and impractable.

Glad that the restaurant has reopened, but it was in a much nicer area of the hotel before, which a a view over the pool area and the option to sit ourside Food was good but a very limited choice. Ww remember a superb restaurant with a lot of dishes on the menu. Shower pleaced in the bath., needs a not slip surface or mat.

Very pleasant hotel. Friendly and helpfull personnel. Raally good breakfast, inclusive warm dishes. Convenient and reasonably priced parking directly at the hotel. Short walk to the city center, Very pleasant, quite area, hotel is located directly near the river with a possibility of walking at the riverbank. Strong wi-fi signal. Clean and fresh rooms, nice bathrooms.
