Breakfast was perfect for me...simple and good. The value for the location at that price was exceptional. Room 17 was great. Food on-site was as well. I liked the quirkiness. Beds were very comfortable. Shower was nice. They stored my luggage several hours the day I checked out. The staff were as helpful as they could be. Good a/c

The room could use new paint in the bathroom,more cleaning around the a/c, sliding door didn't seem to lock...the hotel itself just begs for some TLC. Sprucing up, clutter cleaning, a better entrance to the rooms.

The location was excellent for bars, restaurants, shops and the beach. The staff were very welcoming and allowed us early checkin as we arrived early and our room was available. This was greatly appreciated as we were travelling by motorbike so we were able to change into comfortable clothes and leave our helmets etc. The bed was very comfortable with crisp, clean bedlinen. Breakfast the following morning was good value for money. I would recommend this hotel for a visit.

We had a very nice room with a view of the sea - small but nice. The bathroom was clean and nice. The location is great. The French breakfast the next morning was very good. The staff was very friendly. We had bicycles with us and were able to store them well.

Old hotel, but there’s some good energy there. Very nice food in the restaurant downstairs, loved the staff and atmosphere. Mussels were perfect!

A little bit dirty, super small rooms, no elevator, just stairs to the rooms. Lots of different noises.

a bit strange reception area and back rooms leading to the hotel bedrooms, communal area’s were in need of updating and the rooms would benefit from a fresh coat of paint

A lovely place to stay! Might b a bit basic on a first sight, but having everything needed. Great bathroom, stunning view on the ocean, separate entrance (dogs' owners appreciate!), good wi-fi, perfect location.

Only few things: the hotel wasn't answering my request about my dog so I had to call them (and there were no problem about it). Also the air-co was powerful but started to make noises in the middle of the night; while before it was noisy because of the huge party right in front of the hotel (but that's a price to pay for a central location).

Location, parking excellent. Food. I had the Salade Cesar. What a plate full. Really great taste & all healthy. Staff helpful & friendly.

Not really a let down but the hotel itself is disconnected at the back. Lavanau is popular with young surfers and this is not really a draw back.

Stayed in the little cabin just next to the hotel which was ideal. Spacious for surfboards, mini patio for drying wetsuits and sitting. Free parking which is a bonus. 30 seconds walk to the beach!
