Michelle was a absolutely perfect host, very kind, helpful and just a really nice person. Our room was clean and a lot bigger than I expected. We also enjoyed the dining area a lot. Breakfast was tasty and fresh. There are some nice restaurants not too far from the place and we felt safe and comfortable walking around even in the dark.

There is not much to see within walking distance of the property. There is a beach but you need to take the tide times into account as the sea may be gone. For Cap Ferret and Dune du Pilat you need to remember that the drive may take longer than you expect when there is a lot of traffic.

We had a room on the top floor and the only warning is that there are quite a few steps to get up there! The room, however, was lovely with a beautiful bathroom and windows that opened to allow the fresh breeze in. Bed was comfortable and the shower terrific. The hostess is quite amazing, making reservations for you right away for restaurants, tours, bicycles...you name it. And she is a wealth of information about what to do and where to go. A lovely place to stay and relax in the Bassin. Wish we had stayed longer than two nights!

A superb and very friendly host, full of information on restaurants to try, places to visit and things not to miss! The two restaurants at the end of the road were terrific and a visit to Cap Ferret was a wonderful suggestion. The room was immaculate and the breakfast was delicious . Michelle was very welcoming and gave us a lot of info about the area and suggestions, she even booked a restaurant for us when we arrived the first day. The place is beautiful and immaculate and kept at very high standards. Breakfast is great too and every day she has something special. The kids loved it as there's plenty for them to play with.

A charming B&B in an excellent location to explore the Arcachon Bay area. The host was very welcoming and gave us great tips for places to visit. Provided plentiful and varied breakfasts with different delicious homemade items! Thank you for a great stay.

What a great place to stay and located very well sited for visiting all the amenities in the area. The villa itself is very well maintained and is a credit to the owners. A very comfortable time away and the breakfasts were first class. Thanks for a lovely holiday.

Everything. They were so friendly, the room was clean with A/C. They helped us with recommendations for restaurants. They really went above and beyond.

Villa Glen Tara was very comfortable, close to the ‘beach’ and had onsite parking. An added bonus was our host, Michelle. All of her suggestions/recommendations were spot on!

The narrow stairway made it difficult to get our suitcases up to our room.

The host was lovely. Great ambiance and provided excellent information on things to do in the area. She also made special effort at breakfast.

The house is quite far from the nearest big, sandy beaches. Although it is lovely to swim in the bay (2 minutes away) when the tide is up.

Michelle was lovely, welcoming and went out of her way for us. Room was fab, breakfast delicious. Village was lovely too with really nice restaurants and welcoming people.
