Day staff on reception were wonderful, our dog was treated as a guest too, everything sparkling clean. Beds fabulous, ambiance superb, music in entrance hall was tasteful, and suited the gorgeous surroundings, amenities good and staff friendly and attentive.

Only negative was a tiny one- we ordered breakfast in our rooms which was slightly outside our booked 15 minute slot- but the waitress did forget the milk for the cereal. And the hot drink for only one if we two..,,,I had to ring down to reception and it was another ten minutes before they arrived. Fortunately we were not in a hurry but it would have been very irritating if we had a tight schedule.

Great location in the centre of Le Mans with a secure underground car park. We arrived on a Friday evening and found the young receptionist most welcoming. Although she was apparently a new member of staff you would not have known as she had everything under control, appeared to be running the place by herself and was extremely polite and proficient - and her English was faultless which made things a complete breeze. The hotel has a grand entrance hall and lifts to all floors. The rooms were large, comfortable and well equipped. The TV didn’t have any English speaking channels programmed in but that just made a visit to the bar with my friends all the more appealing. The receptionist was now acting in the capacity of bar keeper and was a good host. Continental breakfast in the morning was extremely good and set me up for the day. All in all a great place to stay and the hotel I shall keep in mind and book early when I eventually do get round to attending the Le Mans 24 Hour race.

Nothing - it was all good.

We were upgraded to a suite and it was magnificent. Very comfortable, huge king sized bed, balcony ... The staff were so helpful and friendly. We ate in the restaurant both of the nights we were there (even though we never intended to do so) as the food was excellent. Short walk to the Cathedral and the old town. Loved it all.

I have to say, there was nothing we didn't like. An excellent experience.

Lovely hotel, lovely old building, very friendly staff and excellent value for money. The location is superb, a short walk from the Place de la Republic in the centre of Le Mans where there are many eating and drinking options. Nothing to fault really, I thoroughly recommend this hotel.

The only slight issue we had was that the underground car park had a height restriction (because the door is only 1.6m high so our car wouldn't go in it because we were travelling with a roof box. We didn't know this in advance, otherwise we'd have contacted the hotel in advance to book a space in the outside car park which has no restriction.

The location was excellent. We opted for a privilege room and were pleased we did as it was spacious and comfortable. We had robes and slippers provided, which was a nice touch. Breakfast was good but expensive for what we had. The hotel is in a lovely building with interesting features. We did not use the restaurant in the evening but there were plenty within walking distance. The reception staff were friendly and helpful. The hotel’s car park was good. We could easily walk to the old town- a must if you are staying.

The shower was over the bath and there wasn’t a shower mat so it felt unsafe. There wasn’t a mirror with a plug near it in the room.

We had a fabulous room with a massive balcony. As the weather was warm and sunny we spent a lot of time enjoying it. Our room we also very large, nicely upholstered with a large en-suite. It was very clean and the staff were all welcoming and eager to please. The hotel is close to the centre of town. There is a large secure car park.

There was nothing to dislike at the hotel.

Not thrilled by the breakfast. Bacon looked very overcooked and greasy and scrambled egg was runny. Undercooked. No croissants. Not enough staff to explain the coffee options. The dining room was cramped for the number of people.

More staff, more labelling of food, explanation of coffee machine. Food was too squashed together which made it difficult to serve oneself.

The lady working the reception desk was very helpful. Just delightful. We were given a room upgrade which was a real treat--I suspect because the hotel was relatively quiet. The room was massive with a huge comfortable bed. The bathroom was large with ample towels, bathrobes, slippers, along with the usual toiletries. The location was central to most things. The bar was nice for a cocktail. The buffet breakfast had a variety of foods to appeal to all tastes and dietary requirements. There was almond milk available too, which we really appreciated since we don't take animal milk.

Very nice room, clean and a good air-conditioning. Good, big bed. Dog friendly, they were even aloud in the breakfast room, which is a plus for us. Private parking spot behind the hotel, ideal when you have a high car. If you wish, there is also an underground parking spot of 1m80.

Only 1 towel in the room, so we had to go back downstairs to ask for 1 extra towel.

The room was clean and of a good size, ensuite was clean and organised. The breakfast was fantastic which made the start to the day first class.

NOTHING WAS TO DISLIKE>>>>>>> Everything was as it should be. The most outstanding feature of this hotel was the staff.... Excellent, totally helpful and listened carefully to all requests.
