The location was perfect and we were lucky enough to have a breathtaking view from our balcony overlooking the Sanctuary of Our Lady of Lourdes where we watched the procession of the lights for the first 2 nights. It was in easy walking distance to everything. The whole Villa has been beautifully restored by Cecile and her husband and our room was restored with authentic period décor and a stunning bathroom with both a bath and large walk-in shower. Cecile, our host is extremely helpful and friendly and provided us with wonderful breakfasts throughout the 3 days we stayed of local and homemade goods with great variety across our stay. She also recommended 3 local restaurants to eat at. We were luck enough to have lunch a Da Marco’s which was amazing with delicious food, beautiful decor and very attentive staff. Highly recommended as the place to stay for a truly special experience.

Was a bit hard to locate with the changing directions of the one way streets. Don't let this put you off as worth it once you are at the Villa.

We were delighted with every aspect of our two-day stay here. Our room (Gavarnie) was very spacious and comfortable and had a balcony with a great view of the river and the nearby Domaine. Bathroom was large with an excellent shower. Very peaceful location, all that could be heard was the sound of the river flowing which we found to be quite soothing. Our host Cécile was very welcoming and attentive and provided us with breakfasts which were truly spectacular - probably amongst the best we've ever had in France. Free parking just outside the house. A really memorable stay and we hope to come back here one day.

Absolutely nothing!

By far THE BEST hotel I've ever stayed in France! The rooms were absolutely lovely and agréable, everything was super clean and comfortable including the bedding and bathrooms. It is always super hard to satisfy my mom who is picky about things, but she really loved the whole stay and we all want to go back to Lourdes because of this hotel. The owners were very helpful and sweet people, we felt really welcoming during the whole stay, and the breakfast was delicious. The hotel is located in the quiet area of the village by the river, so it is peaceful but also at the same time accessible to most of the spots you would want to visit, especially the sanctuary takes only 10-15 minutes by walk.

Nothing!

Felt like an absolute treat to stay here, lovely comfortable roomy bed, beautiful floors and wooden staircase. The windows opened onto a view of the castle, grotto, mountains and river, we couldn't have asked for more. We also had a most beautiful bathroom with a stained glass window. Cecile was a great host and the breakfast was lovely, in a lovely setting.. When we opened the shutters in the morning, sometimes we could hear the singing from the grotto, thoroughly enjoyed every minute.

Happy with everything

If you are in Lourdes for pilgrimage, this is the place to be. Not only because of its amazing location, minutes walking from the Grotto and Basilica, as well as the town center, but because you will encounter kindness, care and a sense of tranquility. Cecile and her husband Marcel are wonderful hosts and will make you feel at home. Our room was large, the bed was very comfortable, the balcony was an extra bonus. The breakfast was nice and we really appreciated the daily baked good by Cecile, and the walnuts from her daughter’s garden. There is plenty of street parking.

I hate to say that it was the best because people will know our secret but, I have to share of course. It was a Very good experience. House was very cozy, Madam Cecile’s breakfast was great! We wake up to the birds at 0600 and hear the flow of river the whole night adding to very restful sleep,very peaceful and clean, very spacious, modern bathrooms.

O, what a beautiful stay, very close to the grotto and all the shops and restaurants Be prepared for a lot of walking, wear comfortably footwear we got a shared taxi their from airport because no busses on Sunday and bank holidays but on the way back taxi cost 40 Euro but u can get a bus for 4 Euro very close to the Villa.bring big clear bag and we bought small bottles from Amazon to bring back holy water we had 12 3.0z bottles. And they let us take them on the plane. u don't need to use an airport plastic bag. u can put as much as that fits in ur own bag, or u would have to check a bag 🎒 Host was amazing, very kind, warm, and friendly, and I will go back again.

I travelled with my elderly mum and was rather concerned that the check-in time was 17:00. However, I was pleasantly surprised when Cecile, our hostess, said the room was available to us upon our arrival at 09:30 in the morning and we are so appreciative of this. Bed was comfortable; bathroom had both bath and shower besides the very unusual stained glass; housekeeping done on a daily basis; room was spacious with two armchairs, desk plus chair, kettle and ample supply of teas, coffee and sugar: balcony overlooking the sanctuary; wifi was consistently good! Always found parking in front of the hotel. The structure itself is exceptional dating back to 1900 with original wooden staircase and old furniture (we stayed in room Aspin and the bathroom was originally actually a chapel, ergo the stained glass). But it is Cecile who makes this villa all the more special with her gentle and caring manner. She would prepare an abundant and different breakfast every morning and even woke up especially early on our last morning since we had to leave early. What a respectable lady! Thank you Cecile.

Couldn't possibly complain about anything.

Fantastic location being opposite the church & grotto. Our room was delightful & so beautifully decorated to suit the period of the house. We could watch the pilgrims parade at night from our balcony. We parked our car out the front of the property on a very quiet street. Lovely breakfast with a great variety to choose from. Walking into the city was easy & very close too.

"Location, location".... was so easy, directly opposite the Sanctuary in Lourdes just a few minutes walk across the river. Great parking directly opposite the villa. We had a suite on the top floor with amazing views of the domain. Hostess was very welcoming and served a lovely French breakfast alongside the other guests around the large traditional dining table.
