Reception were friendly and gave me a map and even advice on their restaurant choices. The view was amazing from my room which was small, a little rustic but perfectly formed and clean. The location is on point and Menton is fabulous for views, food and facilities. Breakfast was brought to the room for an extra 8 euros. Superb value for money too. Stayed one night as a solo traveller and I would definitely recommend to anyone.

Super location, the rooms are cleaned every day and have everything you need for a vacation. The hotel staff did everything to make our stay in the hotel and in Menton magical. We found the perfect hotel for us and we recommend it to everyone who wants to visit the French Riviera and beautiful Menton.

Absolutely nothing.

The staff was so nice, really welcoming and helpful. The hotel is in a great location, close to the beach and the town. Finally, the room was comfortable for us. I would stay here again and recommend it to my friends.

The only thing about this hotel is that the carpet does make the room smell slightly of cigarettes. It wasn't awful, but we did note it. If they replaced the carpet, it would be perfect.

The location was excellent. The single(!?) room is actually a nice size of double room with 2 balconies. I loved the bath tub. I did like the hotel's retro vibes.

I was aware that this hotel has plenty of smoking rooms, which I could deal with, but with the condition of the carpet not really. If you have budget for changing just 1 thing, PLEASE change the carpet.

Good location for those who (1) want to visit the old town, (2) walk/"hike" up to the cemetery for the perfect view of the waterfront and old town (3) want to stay in the quiet part of town. Hotel Narev is a perfect location for those who appreciate peace and quiet. But the busy shopping streets are just two blocks away. Car parks easily available at the Hotel de Ville ( remember to book online - interparking) We went to Menton for the Ronde des Plages so we appreciated that there's a short cut (via a road tunnel) to the beachfront. We were given level 5 room and rewarded with gorgeous views of the hills. Love the art decor interior of the room, especially the wall paper and wall lights - very different from the sterile typical modern hotels. :) It's a wonderful hotel to stay in, considering the price. Great value for money.

The lights at level 5 common area do not seem to work well.

Great location as it was very close to the old town where everything was situated (I.e. restaurants, shops) as well as very close to the beach and promenade. Room was sufficient enough and provided what was needed. Staff were very helpful and friendly too.

The location was great. It was in the middle of Menton. The staff were also really friendly.

The carpet of the room had big spots on it I’m not really sure what that was but it didn’t seem like mold however I think stains that couldn’t be removed.

Wifi connection did not work in the room and the television volume was automatically set at a very low level. What I thought odd, was that on existing the lift, and once the door lift closed, the entire floor was in TOTAL DARKNESS with no automatic lighting. Strange. How is one supposed to find a light switch on a wall somewhere? I did mention it to reception.

Carpet, a bit worn out and could use some replacement.

Easy check in , clean room, every thing worked, well used but no problems , great staff , great location. Will definitely return.
