The reception staff were wonderfully friendly and accommodating. A perfect start to our stay. The restaurant is top notch both in the food and drinks that they serve but also the level of service. The staff were efficient in an understated way.

The room was not quiet in the morning. If in term time, the children gather in the playground from about 7am to play together and the playground is opposite the hotel. Also the breakfast could be improved. A little meagre, milk was served in the tiniest of jugs which were on the serving table. If you were having cereal you needed about4 of them… the quality of the food that was offered, was good, but not enough.

Very comfortable room and clean bathroom, fully equipped. We had dinner in the restaurant, it was delicious and with great wines. Very friendly and attentive employees. We had a fantastic stay in Meursault. We skipped breakfast and went for the excellent bakery in Meursault. Would totally recommend hotel Le Globe.

A very minor thing, on Monday not many restaurants (almost none) are open in Meursault. We didn't realise on forehand that their restaurant would therefore be fully booked as one of the remaining open spots (with very good food). It would have been helpful if they reminded us in the afternoon when we checked-in. So we could have made a reservation on time. However when we showed up spontaneously around dinner time at the restaurant, they were very helpful in finding a solution so we could still enjoy a delicious dinner. All compliments to the staff for the service and kindness.

The village of Meursault is delightful, in the famous wine region, and easily accessible from the motorway travelling to the south of France - almost half way from Calais. It was quite special to take our meal on a warm May evening on the Terrace. The staff were friendly and efficient, and little touches like note of welcome left in our room and a gift of a Meursault cork screw were nice.

Whilst the room Was extremely stylish and of a high spec, it was rather small, and, dark. The decor was very retro in dark green or was it blue. Maybe it would appeal to someone b younger than me with better eye sight. The food was very decoratively presented but did not live up to the expectations I had from reading previous reviews.

The Globe is in the heart of Meursault and as such could not be a better location. Everything surpassed our expectations from the unasked for upgrade of room to the barman searching online with us for a place to visit that we couldn’t remember the name of! Our room was lovely with super bathroom facilities and a very comfy bed. Our meal in the restaurant was excellent with the service friendly and helpful, the food was gorgeous. We have loved our stay here and we can thoroughly recommend it. We shall return!

visit got off to a bad start with no one at hotel at 1600 check in time. three couples were waiting when a staff member finally turned up a bit after 1630. she apologised profusely saying that her car broke down. this was not good enough for one couple who stated that the delay was totally unacceptable. they cancelled their reservation. we accepted the apology and were rewarded with a free breakfast.

the comedy of errors continued at check out when we were initially asked why we were leaving and not staying another night? it turns out that the occupant of #6 was staying an extra night but we were not this person or the occupants of #6. once this confusion was cleared up we were presented a bill which included 25 breakfasts - two of which were free. commenting that breakfasts were indeed nice 23 was probably more than even we could consume. in the end a bill for the tourist tax for the night was presented and paid. all rather funny. this is a great hotel in a great location. parking was free and easy. the back office needs a bit of work but the staff could not have been nicer.

The breakfasts were very good, with plenty of choice and excellent croissants and bread, and decent coffee. The towels in the rooms were super soft, the shower spacious. And the receptionists were very helpful.

The decor of the bedrooms was very dark which made it difficult to see things such as the light switch, which was dark on a dark wall! Also in our room there was no cupboard to hang clothes.

Situated in the centre of the beautiful village of Meursault. We stayed with our teenage son in the duplex suite and it was great with two separate rooms. Also the exquisite decor. Something beautiful around each corner. A wonderful welcome from Celine!

Nothing at all

We booked at 7:30pm as we were looking for a place to spend the night on our way. We arrives at about 9:00pm and the staff coukdn ‘t have been mire welcoming. Though our room was small it was very comfortable, quiet and the air conditioning wirked beautifully. Modern bathroom. Good sheets. We had the restful night we needed. Breakfast was generous and delicious. We will return!

Fully renovated hotel, very comfortable and quiet. The staff are very friendly and they do everything they can to make your stay pleasant. I loved the lounge area with nice deco and many interesting books. Great restaurant to enjoy fine dining and excellent Burgundy wines.

Bathroom toiletries are nice (Rituals brand) but the body milk was missing.

This hotel is located in a quiet street in the calm and pretty village of Meursault - convenient for an overnight stop on a north south trip and walking distance to different cave and wine tasting options The hotel is very comfortable with a cozy, opulent feel and style. It does not have a French country vibe more a city boutique hotel feel. The restaurant is outstanding from all perspectives interior design, food flavour, originality, presentation, service and wine choices. We ate an excellent meal that combined great taste pairings with beautiful presentation and the staff who were on duty could not be more helpful or pleasant The bedroom was comfortable and the bathroom excellent. The reception staff and waitress at dinner and breakfast were kind helpful and seemed to enjoy assisting guests. I would highly recommend this for an overnight stop especially for couples who want to spoil themselves a bit!

We thought the breakfast was nevertheless a bit below the overall standard of the hotel and restaurant. It was a nice but basic French breakfast whereas the rest of the hotel is aiming at a more luxurious level :- croissants (quite greasy), bread, jams, juice, hot drinks. We were offered some cheese which when it arrived was one incredibly small fingers of comte and a minute portion of goats cheese . There was no brown bread, honey, yoghurt or eggs on offer which seem standard in most hotels in France these days. When we asked for yoghurt an alternative white cheese was however provided which was kind.
