The hotel fits the bill for an overnight stay, but the staff were outstanding: the gentleman on the desk when I arrived could not have been more welcoming and helpful to a weary cyclist, and the good humour of the lady serving breakfast brightened up a dull morning. Customer service at its best: give me this over the Ritz any day!

Room needs more pillows

It was not possible to ventilate because the window opened onto the corridor. I missed the fresh air. Of course, not all rooms are like this.

The rooms were clean and tidy and adjoining

The fan in the room was broken and cold air poured in through the vent. We had to cover up the event with a bag and duct tape to keep warm. When we arrived it was freezing! Also there was no Reception open so had to go through the pallava of checking in on a machine at the lodge.

Breakfast buffet was nice and the service in the morning was very friendly.

The room could have been cleaner. We requested a cot but this was not provided (maybe this was because we booked the day of our arrival). We requested a double room but only got towels and pillows for 1 person.

It is near a motorway but opposite an industrial estate. The staff were frienddly and it was reasonably comfortable although pretty cramped

The directions were about as bad as they could get. Google could not find it despite about an hour trying. Booking.com sent us down a dirt track into a field. There was no decent sign outside the "Hotel" and the name was wrong. It should not be described as a Hotel as it is a MOTEL. The restaurant is only open for very limited times on certtain days with a very limited menu. The bathroom really needs some work as the basin was broken and the rest really needs some work. The photos do not give a true impression. The free Wi Fi was extremely limited and slow. Not really good value

Totally deserted .. no staff ….all automated ….bit depressing really..

Food in restaurant 800 mtrs away from hotel.

Nobody at the reception. Needed to call someone. Very very small rooms. Noisy with all the traffic of motorway and local road. No garage available despite promiss made upfront. Restaurant was closed and needed to go to other place 800 mtrs away from hotel. No breakfast available in the morning despite promiss that it would be available. Nobody at reception to check out. Luckily the cleaning service came and helped us out.

We thought it would be a convenient stopover.

It was very basic. I realise it wasn’t expensive but it smelt of cigarettes. The shower was okay but the room didn’t really meet our expectations. We didn’t see any staff so I can’t comment on them. The check in procedure should have been straightforward but the machine took ages. We arrived very late so there was no one to help.

Disappointing. Did not deliver what was aggreed on. Booked dinner and breakfast. only had breakfast. for dinner was send to other restaurant at 1.5 km Wil not vistit this hotel / restaurant again.
