Our stay was absolutely perfect from checking in to checking out. The staff (english speaking) was very kind. They really lived up to the expectations of the accomondation. The hotel itself was like entering narnia. When you open the big door and step over the high entrance you literally walk into wonderland. It was winter during our stay, but the surrounding was still magical. As the lady who checked us in described: a little village. It’s close to the underground and within 30 minutes with public transport to all the highlights of Paris. The hotel is also located within walking distance to the grande mosque of Paris. There are plenty of restaurants within a 3 minute walk and a lot of life during the evening. The rooms were comfortable and for the first time we did not have to ask for a second pillow, because this room already has 2 pillows (per person) laid out for you. The rooms are very aesthetically pleasing and matches the theme of the small village. It was also very nice that we had a bath. There are a few parking spots available in their garage, so make sure to reservate a spot for your car. It felt very safe to leave our car there. I will defenitly stay here everytime I come to Paris. && Recommend the hotel to everybody I know whos going to Paris. Thank you so much!

No complaints.

The staff went out of their way to make our stay memorable. We were in Paris celebrating my wife’s 50th birthday, and on her birthday at breakfast, all the staff came out with a cake and candle singing Happy Birthday. We had a wonderful time and would not hesitate to stay there again we we ate back in Paris. Thank You.

This is a hotel for people who value charm, tradition, good taste, and a quiet, homey, understated atmosphere. The courtyard in which the hotel sits is like a return to an earlier Paris. One can almost imagine the world of a hundred years ago. The breakfast room is warm, handsome, even elegant, and the service is graceful yet casual. The location is just a bit set apart from the main traffic arteries, and all the better for it. One feels embedded in an idyllic corner of the city, yet the main sights are within walking distance (for those who like to explore on foot).

A coffee maker in the room would be nice. Apparently, the hotel is about to install them.

We loved the very pretty garden and the French country house style of the hotel. The staff were lovely, in particular the breakfast lady. Some rooms are directly accessible from the garden with their own outside table and chairs which is nice. The location in the Latin quarter is excellent and a great choice of restaurants nearby.

Although we had booked a superior room with garden view and access, the room we were given initially was on the second floor with a small window set back behind the parapet with a view only of tree tops and roofs. It was also quite narrow and not of the standard we had expected or comparable with the rooms shown on the website. The next day we were given a ground floor garden room however. We did feel that all rooms would benefit from an upgrade and that whilst some of the decor was ok, other aspects eg dark curtains and dark carpets in some rooms and dirty paintwork need improving.

Size of the rooms was fabulous. Lovely and clean and airy. The garden setting was gorgeous and gave many opportunity to meet other travellers. Felt extremely safe and private in the hotel grounds tucked away behind gated doors. So close to the metro and restaurants and the famous rue Mouffetard. The staff were delightful and couldn’t do enough to help for any query. We stayed on the ground floor open ending into the garden. Loved that it was air conditioned as well! Bonus! We didn’t have breakfast but it did look yummy.

Be nice to have a small fridge in the room to keep purchases cold and maybe some milk for the morning coffee. Be great to also have a toilet brush! Lol.

For a European hotel, the room was spacious. The staff was excellent. They went out of their way to be helpful and courteous. They even helped us move our suitcases into the room and provided wineglasses for a wine that we had brought. The location was good and there were multiple restaurants located only one block away. There was a charming area to sit outside and have wine every afternoon and breakfast every morning. The bathroom was spacious and spotlessly, clean with white tile floor and walls. The rooms are homey and have a small table and 2 chairs for a snack in the room. Coffee and tea provided in the room.

The only thing that I would have liked is better quality towels

Beautiful place and surroundings. Bit of a distance to main attractions but the location is great for bit of night life & restaurants. Just not very touristy!! Shower was great & powerful. Air Con worked great and was a god send when we went!!! Beds super comfy too. Despite the criticisms (below) I would highly recommend as the Courtyard is very Parisian and you can sit there with takeaway food and your own wine/alcohol 👍 Me & the Wife loved it!! ❤️

Rooms look a little 'tired' and could do with bit of an upgrade. That said room was a good size for Paris & Price.

When you enter the gate of the hotel you feel like you are entering another world. There is silence, calm, beautiful nature, an even more beautiful porch with lots of tables and chairs. The entrance to the hotel is convenient, with a remote control. The upper floor can also be reached by elevator. Rooms are really beautiful, floral wallpapers are very cute. Bed is comforrable. Rooms are cleaned daily. Service is at the highest level - there was no problem to get along in any matter or for example to borrow iron to the room :) Guests can controll temperature in the room themselves :) The location of the hotel is excellent - near to the Pantheon and many restaurants or bakeries. Thanks a lot for nice stay, it was great pleasure to stay here :) hope to see you soon!

Wonderful location, very quiet (in the middle of Paris!) and peaceful. The inner courtyard is lovely and well maintained. The hotel is a couple hundred meters away from the Place de la Contrescarpe and Rue Mouffetard, so there are a lot of restaurants nearby (of varying quality...). But the noise of these lively places doesn't reach the hotel. It's also close to the Pantheon, the Arènes de Lutèce, Boulevard St Michel, Boulevard St Germain and the beautiful Jardin du Luxembourg--all in a 10-minute walk. Still within walking distance are the Ile Saint Louis and Ile de la Cité.

The length of the beds is on the small side; could be a problem if you're 6' tall...

Very pleased with our stay here in Paris! We had not stayed in this location before, but it was quiet and charming, near a metro stop, and close walking distance to the Latin Quarter/Notre Dame area. The hotel is in a private alley and I always felt very safe walking around as a female at night. The staff were all very friendly and went out of their way to make us feel welcome and comfortable including sending a birthday treat for my sister :) The room was large (for european standards) and the bathroom was a pleasant surprise - shower was very nice! Would definitely stay here again.
