In the heart of old Paris the location is superb. Walking distance to many major venues including Notre Dame and life along the Seine. The location allowed us to go off in different directions and come back to the hotel to freshen up and then head out again throughout the day. Very CLEAN! FRIENDLY STAFF, kudos to night manager Rudy. Excellent language help and local directions and tips. Manager (Marie?) was also extremely helpful! Definitely would choose again.

The downside of older hotel locations is often the smaller room size. We found the room tight but realized that we weren’t there to hangout at the hotel. In exchange we got a modern bathroom, superb bed, quiet room, great A/C and wifi and friendly caring staff. Easy trade off!

I liked the hotel, it is great for a short stay. Excellent location, close to all attractions, spacious room, wide bed, wardrobe with mini-safe, a balcony. Good service, the administrator Issa is very friendly and answered all our questions. When making a reservation, an amount is debited from the bank card as confirmation of the reservation, but upon check-in you still need to pay the same amount. Frozen funds will be returned within a couple of weeks, but this should be kept in mind when checking in.

It is very strange that there is no door to the bathroom, and the wall separating the shower from the room is made of glass. Despite the fact that the glass is tinted, when the light is on, a person taking a shower can be clearly seen. This is really weird. The elevator goes up to the fifth floor. Our room was number six and we had to carry heavy suitcases up the circular staircase. I would like to know about such nuances in advance.

First, you cannot beat the location: It's in the 5th arrondissement of Paris's Left Bank. Many attractions are within a light walk, a 20-minute bus trip, or a Metro ride with a connection. Second, the rooms are spacious and comfortable for our party. The breakfast is filling and we always appreciate that we can help ourselves to a pick-me-up coffee until late in the evening. Marie, one of the staff, was wonderful: She patiently answered our questions, offered help with directions, and was pleasant through and through.

The hotel was installing new carpeting during our stay, and for a few hours during the day, there was noise and the smell of glue (or whatever adhesive they used). However, we were out and about for most of the time, so we were not bothered much.

Friendly, polite and really helpful staff. The room was clean and comfortable. The hotel is being refurbished on our floor but that didn’t cause us any problems. We had a new mattress and the bed linen was clean. The towels were clean but probably could be replaced. The location is great. There is no bar at the hotel but plenty of places locally. There is tea and coffee available for free in the breakfast room which you can use all day. There is a lift which isn’t always the case in Parisienne hotels. We would stay there again.

Hotel in close proximity to the Pantheon 2 min and Notre Dame Cathedral 10 min. The rooms are clean and cozy. The bed is not soft or too hard, so we slept very well. The noise was minimal, only from the corridor through the door. The services were fine. Metro in close 5 min. Overall, we were satisfied.

The breakfast was not bad, but we missed vegetables and hot dishes like scrambled eggs or omelettes. Rooms are being renovated in the hotel, so you have to expect some noise during the day. We left after breakfast and returned late in the evening, so it didn't bother us at all.

The hotel was well located, a short 5 minute walk to Notre Dame and about a 7 minute walk to the closest metro station. The room was small, but clean and the beds were very comfortable. Housekeeping came everyday. The staff were all very friendly and helpful. It was mostly quiet and I didn't notice noise from the street.

I was awoken in the middle of the night from noises from a neighboring room. This only happened once, thankfully, and otherwise the neighbors were quiet. I guess it might depend on your fellow guests, but the walls do not block loud noises well.

6th floor without lift is quite burden for family with kid need to carry the heavy luggage using stairs

The location is perfect !!! Very close to the Notre-Dame and Shakespeare book store. It’s lovely to walk around and get lunch or dinner too. Would I book it again value for money ? YES definitely

The room is small but still enough unless you like luxury. We didn’t get the breakfast but I took a look to see what was a available and really it’s not worth the money.. Bread and croissants and cereal. Also cleaning wasnt so good. It’s not dirty but I can notice like dust on desk not being cleaned or having to ask to change our bed sheets during a 9 day stay.

Great location and beds are very confortable

Rooms a little bit small but normal for Paris. Price could be a little lower.

Well the hotel was indeed in a great neighborhood and the two morning girls at the reception were really really kind and helpful! Breakfast didn't try so I don't know. Wifi good! Quiet during the night... Had a nice sleep.

The room was a bit awkward with two separate bathroom and toilet closing with a curtain (?) And very bizarre colors on the wall that doesn't make you feel relaxed. It is an old hotel indeed and we paid 250 per night as it was high season. Still i would recommend it if it was cheaper and would definitely go again. Thank you girls!
