First of all and foremost of all, the kindness and sincere service of all the front desk people from the booking to check-out was absolutely pleasant ! I felt so welcomed and felt like coming back to a home whenever walking back from a long day out. The room was very comfortable and safe feeling. Decent size for a room in Paris, and I could not mention any more how clean it was. I love to take advantage of taking a hot bath after a long day, but ususally it is hard to do that if the bath tub feels eeky and dirty… It was the opposite here, everything looked nicely renovated in the bathroom not too long ago if not recent, I enjoyed using every amenity. The location is probably the best, it is just 1-3minutes walk to bug stations like Auber, Opera, madeleine, etc.

I liked everything about this place, the noise is there only when other people are out in the hallway since it is a very tight hallway. Like opening and closing door sound and some talking sound. But other than those instant few seconds, it was very quiet and private.

The location of the property is terrific and we loved the classic Parisienne feel and ambience. There are numerous brasseries within an easy walking distance and we could walk to most tourist attractions. The staff were friendly and helpful. The male staff member who was on duty the morning of 6 Nov when we checked out was particularly attentive in assisting us with some baggage issues and we would like to be pass on our va personal thanks.

The adjoining/ aligned property is of a more modern but not as personally appealing design. Initially we are assigned a room in this area, thankfully we were moved to a classic room after the first night.

location, hygiene

the bathtub was quite slippery getting out. i think a simple handle on the wall for stepping out is a good idea also for elderly people.

location , staff helpful and really friendly , nothing too much trouble and helped make our stay really pleasant .Would highly recommend it .Rooms newly refurbed and clean / tidy .Quiet even on the street side

nothing of any real importance , just a very minor niggle of the hotel frontage lighting illumination, which were very bright BUT that was because our room was right next to the high powered lamps.They do turn off at I think midnight , but a slightly better fitting curtain would solve this issue .However this is not a reason to turn away from this hotel.

I booked this hotel at the last minute after my passport was stolen and I had to travel from Bordeaux to Paris to get an emergency replacement at the US Embassy. The hotel is a ten minute walk from there. I travel a great deal and was wowed by the friendliness and helpfulness of the staff at the hotel. I was also very pleased with the dimensions of my upgraded single room (easily twice the size of the closet I had in Bordeaux) and the comfort of the bed. Given the fantastic location of the hotel, I'm amazed at all I got for a very reasonable price.

No complaints!

Front desk staff was exceptional, especially Arnold. We appreciated the safe, small refrigerator and coffee machine. The shower was large with great water pressure. Towels were nice. For a European hotel, the room was a decent size. Air conditioning worked well and was quiet. The location was convenient to public transportation.

Could use a few more hangers in the closet. We tried to have breakfast one day, but at 9:00 every table was dirty, the food was not well stocked and the ladies working in the breakfast room didn't seem concerned that people were waiting but there were no clean tables at which to sit. There was only one Nespresso type coffee machine for the entire room!

Location was perfect. Staff was friendly and helpful. Our room in Batiment A was charming and pretty. The common areas were nice, there is a lovely salon we could it in with our friends.

We were first assigned rooms in building B. In our several previous stays here, we have been in building A. Building B may have been a recent addition. The rooms in B were small and charmless. Dreary even. I asked to change to building A and this was done, thank goodness! I wish there had been a top sheet on the bed. The thick duvet and cover were too hot. The elevator went out of order during our last day. Glad we were only on the second floor!

We liked everything in this cosy hotel, where we felt welcome immediately. The rooms are cheerfully white and red, the staff was spontaneous and friendly, and the breakfast excellent. The location near Madeleine is great, close to the opera and famous shopping places like Galeries Lafayette, but still very quiet with almost no traffic in the street. I had already stayed here last year and it was a pleasure to be back.

Brilliant location, lots of excellent restaurants nearby. Madeleine metro stop 5 mins walk. Staff friendly and helpful, room was clean and bed very comfortable. Would highly recommend.

Breakfast looked very ordinary and was pricy. Two excellent bakeries within 2 mins walk were a much better bet.

Good central location, and despite being in a busy area it is on a side street, so we found the hotel to be really quiet and peaceful. Comfortable and clean rooms, comfortable beds, good bathrooms, air conditioning worked well. Friendly staff. Everything we needed. Breakfast good value for money for Paris (a lot cheaper and better than any nearby cafes we thought!)

Nothing really - everything was good. A bit expensive - but everything in Paris is expensive!!! In fact I think this hotel is reasonably good value for money for Paris, given it is in such a good central location.
