The room was lovely--on the fourth floor (they call it the "third", because what Americans call the "first floor" they call the "rez de chaussee.") But it is definitely the fourth in terms of flights of stairs. There is no lift, but stairs don't bother me and I had an extraordinarily beautiful view from the bedroom and bathroom windows--sky, buildings, the Plaza. I don't remember asking for quiet, (but I might have) but when I arrived, the man at the front desk said: "a slightly bigger room has opened up facing the Plaza--it might be noisy, but it is large and light. And I will give it to you for the same price." And I said: "Yes!" So yes, it was noisy, but it was the noise of people eating and drinking and chatting and having a wonderful time in the Plaza in Paris on some summer nights, so it was a wonderful noise to go to sleep to.

The only thing that might have been better was the breakfast. Not as good as in a cafe. But on the one morning when I needed to just eat and run, it was extremely convenient. So I was glad it was there.

Super good location, near all necessary spots like minimarkets (carrefour, franpix), pharmacy, metro station Saint-Paul, coffeshops, bistrots, restaurants, pastry shops, church if you want and etc. )) as a girl travelling alone I felt very safe! No elevator, but why not some stairs after tones of pastry)) The room is pretty comfortable, clean. Staff is very very friendly, special cheers to Ryan (so cute and friendly). Highly recommend! I enjoyed my stay!

Room size was very small, but I wasn't dissapointed

Absolutely lovely location and the neighbourhood is fantastic. Perhaps because I was alone, I got what I thought is the smallest room possible. They say it’s cosy and small…and they were right. If you don’t mind it, because in Paris you are out and about the whole day (and night), then I recommend it. For me though, I prefer bit more space. Had also window into the space between houses, not ideal at all. The toilet/shower/sink in one tiny space - but it gets dry after while. But again, stuff and location great. Had no breakfast there, so can’t say anything about that.

The room and bathroom were newly renovated and spotlessly clean. The location was exceptional - around the corner from a busy street so had the convenient of the shops and restaurants on Rue de Rivoli but the coziness of a neighborhood. Our room overlooked a square with trees. I really felt like we had a Parisian experience and not tourist craziness. The St. Paul metro station was steps away and Bastille was walkable also. Walkable to historic core. We had breakfast at the hotel one day but after that we got coffee and pastry from a boulangerie on our way out. The front desk is staffed 24/7 and were always helpful and friendly.

The carpet on the stairs was worn. No elevator but I knew that going in. Our room was on the third (fourth if American) floor. The room was small but worked fine for two people. I'd take a small room in a great location anyday.

The manager, Abdel and all of the reception staff were amazing. They were super helpful, friendly and efficient. I had also emailed a few times before arrival and they replied immediately. The reception area was beautiful and full of character. The room was immaculate, modern and had everything I needed, the bed was very comfortable. The room was perfectly quiet and the shower was fantastic. A good size room too. The location of the hotel is fantastic, a lovely quiet street but just 2 minutes from a multitude of shops, cafes, bakeries and restaurants. Line 1 metro St Paul was just a few minutes walk away. I stay in many hotels sand this little hotel has really impressed me. A big thank you to the manager and his staff.

Everything was perfect

The staff at the hotel were without fail friendly and accommodating. Our room overlooked a lovely square with several restaurants circling it. It was quiet and yet was just a short way from the St Paul Metro stop. Pratic is one of the cleanest hotels I have ever stayed in.

Do be warned. It is a small hotel with about 23 rooms in a very old building (it is in one of the oldest parts of the City) it has no elevator. Be sure to let them know if you have mobility issues.

Pratic Hotel is a fantastic localization, is very close of subway station, and the you can find markets, restaurants, bars around the Rivoli street and Marais district, we really like to stayed there, the room always was very clean, the employees are very polite, and I would like to highlight Mr Abdel, he is very nice person, he helped a lot me and my wife. Important to highlight that the hotel have not elevator, so ask to stay at firsts floors.

This hotel is wonderful!! Yes there's stairs... there's stairs everywhere in Paris! Everyday is a leg day in Paris! But the location is excellent. Room was lovely. Very Friendly staff! très très bien!! merci beaucoup!❤️😊

The only thing I would say it needed is more tea bags in the room... but that's Coz I love tea!😆 but I asked for more and I got more so it was fine!

The room is tiny but tastefully decorated and functional. Comfortable bed. Daily replaced towels. 24h front desk and they open and greet guests friendly even if you happen to return very late after a party😁

I didn't like the room service conception: (1) unpredictable service times; (2) desperate disinfection with chloride chemicals - so you enter your room like into a gas chamber after roomservice; reopening windows helps... so the chloride is slowly replaced by the kitchen smells of the neighboring seafood restaurant 😁 (fortunately they stop cooking about midnight and permanent construction noise stops much earlier... devine silence over weekend) (3) room service does not pay attention to the dust on shelves and fridge; (4) they reorganize my things and always remove a piece of soap used once and replace it with a new one in a FIRMLY CHILD-PROOF package.- What a waste and fatigue! One more thing: no elevator... and your room may be on the 5-th floor or maybe higher.

The location was exceptional. The price was very affordable. The staff served us incredibly well. The room was a bit small compared to US hotels but very acceptable for our needs.

We stayed on the second floor which was great but the stairs might have been an issue had we been on the third floor or above.
