This place is absolutely lovely for couples and in an area perfect for those that want to experience Paris and take a quick metro or Uber to the traditional touristy places. incredibly safe. the decor is - and I mean really - just detailed and rich in color and design. Staff is super kind, patient and went out of their way for us. It was my 50th birthday, and they were precious. On the last day, the concierge found out and was so surprised I had not mentioned it prior, he came out with his sweet mug and said from us, a small gesture. It is my most favorite item from my adventure overseas for my birthday. Don’t laugh, but for those who care, toilets have amazing flushing capability. I travel often for work and it’s the craziest thing with toilets. They have issues. Large or small. I would suggest bringing a travel makeup mirror - I forgot mine. There are no plugs for flat irons, etc in a lot in smaller hotels like these. Fortunately, there were mirrors as decor! The beds were extremely comfortable. Lastly, if you have children, don’t stay here. It is a boutique hotel, and there is nothing for children to do. And the neighborhood is filled with local restaurants, bars and incredible things for adults but limited things for little ones. They were incredibly sweet to the family that had children (I only saw one family), but I thought if I had brought my son, I would be on the metro more than in the neighborhood. For a romantic get away, you can’t beat this place. Also - you can’t hear anyone next to you. What a change from chain hotels. So, enjoy this lovely place … we will be back.

The location was excellent. The hotel was delightfully decorated and super charming.

My one complaint was the breakfast. France is known for its bread and specifically croissants. The breakfast buffet was; fine however the croissants, baguettes and pan aux chocolate were really bellow par. I had breakfast once at the hotel and decided to have a croissant and coffee outside of the hotel for the rest of my stay. This should be an easy enough thing to fix and is holding me back from a better review. Why start your day in Paris with a bad croissant?

The location is amazing in the heart of the Marais. Walking distance to almost everything in the center of the city. The overall decor is kitchy fun and thoughtfully mixes traditional and modern touches. The complimentary coffee and tea in the room were excellent and the breakfast spread offered for a fee was excellent. A large fresh selection - eggs, yogurt, granola, fruit, pastries, sliceds meats and fresh salmon. The staff was helpful and friendly whenever we needing anything.

The room was super tiny but that was expected and we really only slept there. The only complaint is there is very little room to hang clothes or set up toiletries in the bathroom but we made it work. We would stay there again.

The location is excellent, right in the middle of beautiful and cool Le Marais. An excellent value. The staff knew our names and they took great care of us. I was there for a fight and they provided me with a scale so I could properly handle my weight cut process. Excellent restaurants and boutiques all around. Safe, cool and comfortable. We met a dude with a flamboyant hat in the lobby who had been staying there for the last 20 years. He knew what was up. Excellent little lounge.

The breakfast was great. Good choices, all very fresh and the staff was so accommodating. I liked the choice of eating inside or on the patio.

Rooms are small, but I know that's common in Paris locations. Nevertheless, it was like a "cool" hug (air conditioning was very welcome) and fairly quiet for a busy city street. Lots of amenities packed in a small room. Coffee, water, hooks for clothing/robes, plugs without an adaptor, etc. Shower also was good with excellent pressure and temp. The concierge (Cyril) was exceptional. Gave me tips for things to do and see in the area and just made me feel right at home like I was staying at a friend's house. Leaving was easy and taxi was on time! Little pricey for size of room, but again, I know that's part of staying in a good location in Paris.

I like this hotel so much that this was the third time I've stayed here. Location is perfect, which makes it possible to visit a bunch of places by foot (although there are bus/metro stations nearby). They also have a lovely lounge space to sit back and read (or chat) while sipping a glass of wine. The room is clean and cozy, with a comfortable bed, and it has coffee and tea, and bottles of water (sparkling and plain water). The staff is professional, very friendly, amiable, and always ready to help. I hope I can go back soon.

A superb boutique hotel in the hearth of Le Marais with a über decadent first Empire decoration. Where else do you get leopard wallpaper frankly ? Beyond the decorum the tiny rooms are well conceived and there is a wealth of amenities that give a luxury feeling to your stay.

A shelf and hooks for the towels would be a useful addition in the bathroom. But apart from this minor detail, they got it absolutely right.

My single room was larger than many single rooms in Paris hotels. I slept well in a comfortable bed in a very quiet room. Everything worked. The staff at JoBo were efficient, competent and very helpful. Catherine needs a special mention. I spoke with them in French but they seemed all to speak excellent English. I was delighted by the extent and quality of the extensive breakfast. The surprising wall paintings and coverings (my walls were covered in leopard skin cloth, the same as the curtains) were a wonderful attraction. I felt very comfortable - at home.

The attention to detail, staff and location made this a superb stay. The rooms were very beautiful and overall comfortable. The staff was so helpful and sweet. The breakfast was delicious!

The only bad thing about our room was that after a shower (we had a tub), the bathroom floor would get completely soaked. We were able to manage it with towels, but if it weren’t for the towels, it would have been a safety hazard.

The hotel staff and their hospitality are enough to highly recommend this hotel. Decor and location are great as well, the carpets and fabric covered walls provide additional soundproofing and also make the rooms more cozy. The entire hotel is immaculately clean. It's very close to great restaurants, shops, bakeries, etc., as well as a metro station.

The rooms are tiny, which is not unusual in Paris but could be challenging for longer stays. For a weekend, it was perfect.
