That we only had 2 days there! (Looks like Booking.com has flipped their "liked" and "didn't like" sections. I have tried repeatedly to correct it.)

Delightful place to stay close to Rennes center. Very pleasant walk to unique and quaint restaurants and shopping. Rennes has a great feel... steeped in history with a foodie an sustainable bent and University town vibe... Our hosts were multi-generation owners that made is feel cozy and welcome. Super French and fresh breakfast with great variety. We will definitely be back!

Personalized attention, nicely decorated room, high quality bedding. A nice alternative to hotel chains. You feel the history of the place. Good sleep in quiet surroundings.

For an hotel 4 stars, I regret that the bedroom was very cold when we arrived at 10pm, the lights of the room weren't strong enough and the service from an old lady owner was also very cold, except the last minutes just before I left the next day. The blanket for each bed was so thin! it was for summer not for winter. This hotel need to buy the adapted blanket for winter. This was the most ridiculous. The owner asked me to leave the bedroom at 11am although she knew I had to wait until 12pm. The hall entrance was also very cold, no heat at all. Nowadays, energy is precious but it's not nice for a hotel 4 stars to be freezing by winter. About the breakfast, we had coffee, chocolatine, croissant and bread. For an hotel 4 stars, we are far from expectations. No chocolate milk for kids and no possible british/american breakfast.

Hotel master was very kind and even answers whatd we asked in Engligh. He is a very good master of the hotel. TV control was missing at the arrival of the hotel but it was found under the bed during our stay. Artificial Presentation of the room　(colar, old furnitures, bath tab...) was good. Valconey was good.

No airconditioning in the room was terrible for the hot night, that was uncomfortable. Pirrow was hard and uncomfortable. It smells a bit which made us feel bad.

It was cute but hard to get to, very little signage at night. Although the guy was helpful enough to come get us from a nearby parking spot

No room service, the room was tiny for the price, barely any towels. Squeaky fan kept us up most of the night. And frankly no AC even though the booking said AC was present. Not even a hot breakfast, very poor value for over 200 € per night!
