Very helpful staff and great price!

The room was very hot and there were spider webs in the curtains.

The nice features: staff is friendly, and the center seem to provide a social service (to young people from disadvantage background) which help you restore your faith in humanity. Having say that, you should avoid this place. Towels, shampoo and so on is NOT provided. Toilet functional but broken. Breakfast is an insult. Both to guests that pay for it (us) and to young people who serve the breakfast and who also eat it.

Small details make a big difference. Having provided towels and shampoo costs nothing. Really. Less than one euro. Breakfast is not served. A lot of food is placed in a random, disorganize way. No system to it. Breakfast is an insult. Both to guests that pay for it (us) and to young people who serve the breakfast and who also eat it. There is a sharp contrast between charity and solidarity. In this case, charity is humiliating because it's exercised vertically and from the top in a very insulting way. And, to make things worst, this reflects very badly on the young guys who seem to receive it. The implicit message given to them is a very bad one: society may exclude you and instead of providing a safe, respectful space, this place is confirming all the prejudices against them. I come from a Third World country and have witness poverty at its worst. However, I have never seen this kind of “charity” towards young, excluded guys. Solidarity is easier than it seems: it is not about providing quantity of food or a place to sleep. It is the way in which you do so. You should serve them (or anyone) in the same way in which you expect to be served. No more. No less. If you pay for that, this is also the minimum standard.

I payed almost 30€ for a double room, when my girlfriend came unexpectedly she had to pay an additional 27€. That's almost 60€ for a night in bunk beds. Had we known this pricing we would have taken a hotel room for the same money and for much more comfort. Breakfast is substandard.
