A beautiful property facing the sea, and the feeling of staying in such a house with an authentic soul. definitely recomend a room with a Seaview t is as advertised nothing very fancy, a 3 star hotel. the view was magnificent, and only a 4 min walk from the village.

Unfortunately the bed was not very good, and both me and my wife slept so, so. it might be that we are picky with that, in the end it is a 3 star so all in all I think it all balanced out nicely.

I loved the location and view from the lobby porch/breakfast area. Had a small fridge in room and water pressure and temperature was very good. It was close to Paloma beach and to town for food options.

Parking was 18 Euro extra and slightly inconvenient but it was secure and roomy. It seemed that there was parking on the street but no one told us how this parking worked as an option. I am not sure if this is a Booking.com or hotel issue but I would prefer the option to split the 2 rooms to different parties but I was told multiple time that 'this was not possible' - however another hotel a day later had no problem with this. Therefore, I think it is hotel issue and this is not very flexible for combined groups who wish to pay for their own rooms separately. Our room for 2 people could have had better lighting and furnishings for the price we payed.

August 2022

Stayed for a week in August with my husband and two kids (aged 10 and 13) - we had two rooms with sea views, one with a balcony. The location is superb, only a 5 minute walk from the harbour, shops, restaurants, bus stops and 3 beaches, but very quiet and private, set within a beautiful terraced garden. The resident tortoises and a couple of fluffy cats were a bonus! The views are spectacular, and we spent many pleasant hours on the balcony and lingering over the tasty buffet breakfast on the terrace, which overlooks the sea. Our balcony was sunny in the morning, then shaded but still bright in the afternoon, which was ideal after hot mornings on the beach. The owners were very welcoming and helpful, and also spoke English. The rooms were comfortable and spotlessly clean, and the air conditioning and mini fridges were very welcome on hot days and for keeping drinks and snacks cold. We spent most days on the beaches (Fosse and Paloma were our favourites) but also visited Nice, which is easily reached by the 15 bus, costing 1.50 Euros each for a single trip, and following a scenic route along the coast. For longer trips, the same bus stops at Beaulieu train station on the way to Nice. We had a wonderful holiday overall - Brise Marine has a lovely independent family-run feel to it, but in a prime, well-connected yet peaceful location with some of the best views I've ever seen.

A classic, slightly old fashioned, French hotel. A beautiful building and garden and an exceptional location with many of the rooms having a most glorious view. Very close walking distance to the town centre, and promenade and bars and restaurants, and to many superb walks on the peninsula. Few of the facilities of a more modern seaside hotel, such as a swimming pool, but its atmosphere and location makes up for that.

Stunning location and amazing views. Very nice staff. Lovely town and old fashioned type of hotel.

The hotel could be great but had some basic maintenance issues. Air conditioning broke during our stay (it was fixed the morning we left after a one night stay but made for a very hot night). Sheets had stains on them. Bathroom door was extremely difficult to open and close.

Location and view couldn’t be better. Highly recommend the triple/balcony rooms to make the most of that. The best room is significantly better.

The stairs are steep if you have overpacked like I did but staff were kind enough to help unrequested (and I wouldn’t ask!).

We spent one night in a room with a balcony with a breathtaking view of the sea. This charming, family owned hotel is close to the beach, but in a quieter area of the village. The gardens are beautiful and the rooms nicely decorated and well appointed. The breakfast was delicious with lots of variety to choose from. Hotel is clean and quiet, very peaceful and the staff was friendly and helpful. The beds were comfortable and the coffee maker, fridge and tub/shower were a pleasant surprise after finding these items not available at most of the other hotels we stayed in.

The difficulty of getting our luggage up the stairs from the street and through the hotel. My friend has mobility issues so we were not aware that there would be so many steps to carry our luggage. The gentleman that runs the hotel kindly helped my friend with her luggage. But this was only a very minor inconvenience and well worth the effort to stay here.

The location was incredible. Steps from Paloma Beach, the village, restaurants. The views were spectacular. The breakfast in the morning was amazing (17 euro so it should be) but it was so relaxing to enjoy out on the patio. The hotel provided me with a beach towel. The gardens were so pretty and the staff were so friendly. Parking was easy! I rented a car and parked along the street.

Know that youll be lugging your luggage up stairs. Its an old town in europe so that is normal. The hotel room itself and bathroom are teeny tiny! But I was 1 person so it was totally fine with me.

the location is fantastic- 5 min walk to some amazing beaches. Breakfast was wonderful they even had gluten free choices for us.

we had 2 rooms. my room was not in the main building, it faced a small courtyard. there were no black out curtains or blinds, only thin yellow privacy curtains. by 5am it was very bright and we could no longer sleep. in addition the shower curtain in the bathroom kept falling down. both these issues are simple fixes. The rest of our party was in the main house in a triple that was just to small for 3 people.

Hôtel Brise Marine is great value for the money. With uninterrupted views across the Côte d'Azure to Eze, this period hôtel has been in the same family since the end of WW2. It is tastefully decorated and the owners are very welcoming. We even enjoyed the sunrise view from our own terrasse. Plenty of lovely places to visit in the immediate vicinity.

Nothing.
