The property is a stylish and beautiful town house set in generous gardens. It has been thoughtfully and tastefully appointed and decorated with a good deal of flair. Our bathroom was particularly stunning! It was comfortable and warm too. The family dog (and I'm not a doggy person) was charming and well-behaved. This is a good place from which to explore the area. We appreciated greatly the impromptu supper offered: a bowl of delicious home made soup, with bio bread and local cheeses
We found the price of the supper we had somewhat on the high side.

This place is absolutely exceptional. It has the feel of a top end hotel. Parking is right outside and the road if quite busy, so first impression isn't special. But then you go inside, and it's breathtakingly beautiful with very high ceilings, timber flooring, lovely grey and white decor, lots of 1930s feel. The rooms are beautiful and beds extremely comfortable, and the bathrooms were just perfect with excellent pressure in the showers. There are brilliant little details all over the place which I won't spoil by describing. Breakfast was an extra 15 euros but worth it, even the fruit juice was home made with fruits from the garden. Fairly steep staircase to the top floor, but thoughtfully crocs are provided by Fabienne. Truly one of the best places I have ever stayed in, and a very long way from being the most expensive too. Don't hesitate.
I would like to have been allowed to take Izzy the golden retriever home, but I didn't blame her for wanting to stay there. In her paws I would too.

Super host who keeps a beautiful, clean house. The house dog is adorable and the rooms are minimalist/chique. The bathroom we had was huge and well-stocked. Slippers were provided so no need to take your own. The property is a 10 minute stroll to the restaurants and bars in the middle of the town.
It is a period property so things worth noting are the wooden floors mean one can hear everyone walking about including during the night, the windows were thin too so street noise was very audible and there is no on-site parking, just on the street. The bed we had was the squeakiest known.

Breakfast excellent with freshly cooked eggs and French toast. Host very pleasant and helpful. Room furnished to a very high standard. a very pleasant rear garden with a pond and ducks.
Very steep stairs, but we knew this before we arrived. Location is on a main road and looked a little uninviting, however once inside it was very nice. A bit of a walk to the town centre but we could have driven, as there was plenty of parking.

The house is a lovingly restored Belle Epoque villa on the edge of Saint Omer backing onto the Marais with a very attractive garden complete with pond, ducks and a very friendly dog. There is ample on-street parking and a not too long walk to the centre of town. Breakfast was excellent including French toast and a fruit compote. We have hurried past the sign for Saint-Omer whilst heading south many times but I'm glad we made the effort to stop there. The area and the villa are well worth a break on the journey

The actual photo shown is the back of the villa. Beautiful garden with lots of lawns, a pond with Ducks and large terrace. Madame greeted us and made us tea on arrival. Beautiful wooden staircase that winds up to the second floor where guest accompanied is. Superb spacious room, comfy bed with quality linen. Bathroom also well equipped and L’Occitane toiletries. Supper was not available sadly that evening.
All was fine. Just take care on staircase.

The house was absolutely stunning and we loved the way the original features were restored mixed with modern furniture and the owners are clearing proud of their house and made us feel so very welcome throughout our stay. The gardens are beautiful and it is within walking distance of the centre of town and there are boating options on the canal nearby as well.

Very convenient location - a short walk to the centre. Free parking outside the house. We were welcomed with a pot of tea on the terrace overlooking the beautiful garden. Garden view room on 2nd floor with huge adjacent, well-appointed and cosy bathroom. Coffee and tea making facilities on landing outside the room were appreciated. Breakfast was delicious and copious, with many home-made products. We enjoyed chatting with the owner. The resident dog was a delight. Excellent for a one night stop to/fro Channel ports, or a longer stay to explore this beautiful town and region. We look forward to returning.

The villa was generally excellent. The owners werer very welcoming, the rooms excellent, the decor great
The description states parking is available implying it belongs to the property. It is in fact on road public parking. The road is very busy and very noisy The price pf breakfast at €15/head is quite steep so we didn't take it.

Lovely room overlooking the magnificent garden. The breakfast was lovely. Fabienne was a very generous host offering us tea and home grown cherries on arrival. The house is beautiful and not far from a recommended restaurant Le Phare which was superb.
Our only reservation was the separate bathroom as we didn`t have robes. A trip to the bathroom could have meant bumping into other guests! Luckily we didn`t but a robe would be handy.
