Excellent location, room was large, airy and very nice, Shower / bathroom was large and very modern. Room was in a separate block in a nice quiet part of the complex. Restaurant and bar / breakfast area were modern and nicely fitted out. Food was good and choices at breakfast were excellent. Staff were very efficient. Location at the edge of the river Seine was lovely. Great views !

The wi-fi was pretty poor and disappointing for an upmarket type establishment.

The location is just idyllic. The breakfasts were varied, generous and tasty. The evening meals were outstanding! Our room was not large but perfectly adequate and the terrace overlooking the river with ducks and swans was just lovely. The bed was comfortable and we appreciated the coffee making facilities. We were a little concerned initially about the proximity of the railway line and the cockerel, but heard neither during the night.

There was significant limescale in the bathroom but otherwise very clean. Also the bread at breakfast could be a little dry.

Love this hotel. The location is lovely. The rooms comfortable, clean and appealing. The resturant is great, the evening menu gives good tasty food and is very popular with people not staying at the hotel as well.The staff were very helpful. Breakfast is varied and very good and the service was friendly. We thought it good value which reflected in the amount of people taking it. We have see empty rooms caused by over pricing elsewhere.

Feeling ignored on arrival in reception. Several staff walked past me. I must have stood there among the people having a drink on their arrival for at least 10 mins. My husband had taken the dog for a walk in this time. All rather embarrassing.

Love this hotel. Have stayed a few times now, always look forward to arriving here after a long journey. Everyone is helpful and friendly. The room we stayed in was perfect to stay in with our dog. Great view. Lovely river walks. The restaurant is superb. And the breakfast is varied and tasty.

Always a little worried that the railway crossing will be closed for some reason. We are not sure of the official times for it. We travel with a roof box so wouldn't fit under the bridge which is the other way to the hotel.

Great and almost secret location, right on the river Seine with Lovely outside seating areas next to the bar and restaurant, plus a lush restaurant and awesome open kitchen with a proper fire for cooking - very atmospheric in total. Rooms were just the right size for Us and we had our own wee balcony with a table and chairs - to watch the sun going down. Easy access to the sea and to Giverny, if you'd like to visit Monet's house and garden.

Wonderful patio, as well as a French country restaurant with open fireplace in lovely dining room. Service and value were exceptional.

A little difficult to find, even with GPS. However it is right on the Seine River and access is nestled in an old and small village. To be expected though in semi-rural France.

Lovely setting, looking out onto the Seine river, slightly quirky because you get to it via a low bridge under the mainline railway, and you hear the trains at intervals. But that doesn't detract from the charm of the setting. Excellent staff and owner.

The staff are delightful. Everyone was very kind, relaxed and helpful. The air conditioning was superb. The rooms are small but perfect for a couple. we only stayed one night on our way to Giverny. The location is lovely. The property borders the River Seine. The English translation of Les Canisses is the reeds. I took some lovely photos of the sunset and sunrise between the reeds. The restaurant was very good. My husband said the steak he had there was the best he’s ever had in France. That is saying a lot as we live part-time in France.

It is absolutely right up against the railway tracks. However, we got used to the trains and in the end enjoyed spotting them. They did not bother us in the night. The air conditioning sound took care of that.

Beautiful location, lovely building

Receptionist on arrival was not very friendly or welcoming. As with many places in France, having only a salad as a choice for people who don't eat meat or fish is not really keeping up with the times. This is 2022, not 1922! We would have loved to eat in the restaurant, but not for a salad. Also please could staff point out that the overground railway crossing is closed at night, which means you can only reach the hotel by means of an incredibly low and narrow underpass. We had to take our roofbox off in the dark, carry it under by hand, then re-attach it on the other side. Just a bit of warning would be nice! I think this returns to the point about check-in - no effort made to welcome guests, to point out what they can do in the area. We just felt a bit taken for granted.

I really liked the restaurant food and the wine was excellent. The location was just what I wanted on the banks of the Seine .. and I ate on the terrace. Breakfast was great too with a good choice
