The room was very clean, all renovated, contemporary design, very nice. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Helped us with the luggage since there was no elevator. The location was great. You are in the middle of the town but by the river and surrounded by trees so you don't feel like bing in town. You can walk to town and restaurants in less than one minute.

The breakfast was ok but could have more choices like eggs, etc... The room lacked some hooks for towels and especially for the nice robes they gave us. The garden was very bare. No swimming pool, no flowers. The few long chairs and chairs were dispersed. They looked more like they were abandoned rather that in a nice setting.

We appreciated the very warm welcome from Marine and the upgrade to a Deluxe suite so our two rooms were adjacent to each other. The beds are very comfortable and the complimentary tea and toiletries are great quality (eg Nuxe bathroom products and Mariage Freres teas). The provision of daily Newspapers and magazines in the bar area. The garden and terrace areas are lovely. The riverside setting is peaceful and pretty - the hotel is central, on the high street of the small town, but is also set back from the main road and with its own car park. The relaxed/informal atmosphere is great and comes from the friendliness and professionalism of all the staff we encountered. Dinner and breakfast both excellent. Our dog was welcomed. Highly recommend a stay at Bel Ami.

Stunning location by the river and very nice contemporary rooms with much needed and effective wi-fi. Competent staff and good private parking.

The menu was reduced with no prior notice to just 2 choices per course. Starters were Euro 18 each, main course 38 and dessert 14 each, so Euro 70 for a 3 course meal with very limited choice, which we felt was way over the top. Apparently a new chef had arrived the day before and had not yet extended his repertoire. We also had one 50cl beer and one 25cl beer which cost Euro 16. Much cheaper options in the nice town just a few metres away.

Nice rooms, good bed and shower. The restaurant is also good if you like French cuisine, I'm more a meat and potatoes man as I'm a Belgian. But I like to experiment. You get free shots after dinner. Staff is very friendly and helpful. Will always go there when visiting my supplier. Fresh orange juice.

Well, it ain't against the hotel, but you better book it outside of booking.com, as it is better value in the end. Take the soirée étape, and the dinner + breakfast is included for about the same price when ordering separately, even somewhat cheaper. That's what I plan to do in the future as well. No worries booking, you can still get a dime out of me when booking from you in the future. Of the hotel, only one complaint, the breakfast is prison style, only bread, cold cuts, no omelette!!!

We were lucky enough to be upgraded and our room - sorry, our suite - was just lovely. We had a huge room, a lovely bathroom (with an amazing shower!) and our own private terrace. The staff were all so friendly and as for the food - that was an absolute delight! I can highly recommend the rhubarb desert but to be fair it was all wonderful. When it came to checking out, we were offered the chance to speak in french or english if we preferred and luckily the lovely lady at the desk was kind enough to allow me to practise my french and we managed to hold a conversation which was so nice. How else do you improve? I can highly recommend this hotel - great staff, fabulous accommodation and wonderful food - you couldn't ask for more.

The hotel is an attractive, well furnished building set in a good location. There is plenty of car parking in a reasonably secure courtyard. Comfortable rooms, with good beds, good linen and towelling, including bathrobes and towelling slippers. Charming river views from the dining room and terrace. Well provisioned room refreshment tray. Some interesting little touches, such as the decorative tweed hatted dogs heads that adorn the walls in the corridors, add to the attraction.

Although the cuisine was good, the menus were quite pricey and the restaurant lacks a simple dinner menu. As travellers after a days journey, we would have preferred to have the opportunity to choose something less elaborate and, frankly, cheaper.

Have stayed before. Lovely to arrive it looks so inviting, well thought out and well maintained. The staff were great and Vincent went the extra mile for us, thank you. The corridors are now looking lovely along with everything else, love the dog heads on the wall. Fabulous restaurant, the food and service were first class. We so looked forward to our stay at the end of a long day travelling we were not disappointed. Very quiet so had a restful night sleep. Our dog was made very welcome and he enjoyed his stay as well. The patio with the room most welcome. And the garden is great for a little run.( could still do with a bin, wouldn't want to leave anything for others to step in). Situated in the town so great to nip out to the lovely assorted shops and businesses.

It would be good if the door out to the carpark had a key for people to use to save going in through the restaurant.

Very welcoming staff at our arrival. We had the chance to got a Suite with a small balcony and a very lovely view over the river. The breakfast was quite nice with still the view on the river. Very quiet place to enjoy a weekend outside of busy Paris.

It's a common issue when you have a river next to where you live, but be careful when opening windows at night if you have your lights on, lot of bugs will invite themselves. The in & out way for the hotel is a bit difficult as there is only one way for both.

A lovely, comfortable independent hotel. Beautifully furnished with a real feel of luxury. We stayed just before Christmas and the gardens and public areas were decorated and lit up. The restaurant was good and the staff very friendly. Good and generous breakfast. We are sorry our stay was so brief as we arrived late and needed to leave in the morning quite early. We have promised ourselves another more leisurely visit in the future.

The shower room was a bit chilly. It needs its own source of heat. Hair dryer was difficult to use…you had to keep a tight grip on the handle to prevent it from switching off. Feeble toilet paper!

Cleanliness and interior design and bedroom product were very good. Staff were well trained and friendly.

Breakfast was very poor value at 15 euros each. Management should look at the offer and either offer what is there complimentary or make the changes required for it to be good value for money. No cheese or meats available, Croissants and Pain au Chocolat didnt look fresh.
