Port view room with balcony was a brilliant choice as we could make our own meals when we wanted using the nearby shops and have as good a view and table as any restaurant. Pool was brilliant and never busy. Breakfast was also brilliant as we were able to sit outside opposite the boats. There was a complete infrastructure around the hotel, bars, restaurants, baker, supermarket which we hadn't realised so there was no need to travel into St Raphael itself (a 20 min walk). In fact St Raphael people seemed to be coming to the port area as it was so good. The bus connection was a real bonus. There were 3 buses you could get (the 21 into town - 5mins, the C right up to old Roman Frejus where we used to stay on hols and the Promenade bus (free!!) which goes to the end of new Frejus port. Really quick, cheap and frequent enough when you timed it right. We used them a lot. 20 mins walk + more to go further might not seem much but in 28 degree heat and at our age it's hard going so the buses were a real bonus. We did side trips to St Tropez (boat) Cannes and Monaco (bus + train) and it was a doddle. We are planning this as our Cote D'azur base from now on. Great to stay at, easy to get to (Train plus one of the 3 buses) and really well priced and a much better option than paying over the odds for much less at one of the larger more well known resorts.

The whole stay was brilliant. We couldn't fault it. The hotel was really well maintained, had a bright open lobby area and was a great place to stay.

Situated in a marina - our room had a balcony overlooking the marina - lovely swimming pool- only 100 rooms so not constantly heaving with people all the time. The hotel is well placed for driving to the town or for the more adventurous along the corniche to Cannes. Lovely helpful staff- rooms beautifully cleaned every day. Comfortable beds and great bathroom.They allow dogs. Indoor and outdoor dining.

I would have preferred a more substantial bar menu than just pizza as sometimes we ate a big lunch and just wanted something snacky at night.

We loved our stay at the best western, the location was fantastic, on the marina with lots of bars and restaurants and a ten minute walk to central St Raphael. The pool was nicer then the pictures and the pool bar restaurant food and drinks were really nice; the bar staff could make any drinks the peach daiquiris were exceptional! Rooms clean and comfortable!

The only downside was the gym seemed to be open to members of the public. We went to use it and were told it was private, and there was some sort of class on.

We were early. Walked in and it was no problem. The staff were lovely. It is a well organised hotel. We had a room overlooking the pool and the bay and stayed for 3 nights. Only regret was we should have stayed for longer. Great pool by the way and if you like boats it is called La Marina for a reason.

It is more of a walk to the centre of St Raphael than expected. About 20 to 25 minutes. There are a huge amount of restaurants in the marina so not a problem in the evening. We ended up having a curry one night! Highly recommended!

The hotel was located about a 15/20 minute walk from the main town. So if happy to walk location is good. Plenty of restaurants nearby but not thy cheap. Although you are in the South of France. Pool Was decent. Breakfast €18 per person. A bit steep for me. Otherwise a nice hotel.

Bit strange, there was no shower curtain within the bath. Water obviously goes everywhere and a clean up job is required!

Great location, nice big pool, quite quiet in the day so no worries about sunbeds, lovely marina-side position. Locals bars, restaurants and Spar if needed. Nice seafront stroll into main St R town if you wanted too. Great location for drives to St Maxime (40 mins) or Cannes (50 mins). Only ground and first floor so not big. We had a “Marina View” room which was lovely.

Nothing really. Next to a concert venue so car park can be busy at night, but no issues.

The hotel is perfectly situated in the Porta Santa Lucia which is so charming with loads or restaurants and bars nearby. Saint Raphael is really lovely and has to be explored as there are loads of lovely things to see and do and the beaches and coastline of the Cote de Azure are just stunning. The hotel itself is excellent with helpful staff and a lovely pool. our rooms we had requested 2 adjoining rooms for a family of 6 with a baby and 6 year old and although booking.com did not understand my request, I spoke directly to the hotel and they understood and the adjoining rooms were exactly what we requested with a cot and extra bed. Our rooms were so comfortable and we had one of the best holidays ever. I would highly recommend the Best Western La Marina and Saint Raphael.

there was nothing I didn’t like

The hotel was fabulous, very clean and well run and in a great location right on the marina. The reception and restaurant and cleaning staff were superb, very helpful and friendly with excellent customer service. The rooms were spotless. The quality of the food was excellent (except for the bread, quite hard). We had dinner, bed and breakfast and the choice of food was really good. The pool is lovely and clean too and there were a lot of sunloungers. We would definitely go back. Thanks to the staff we had a wonderful holiday!

Nice room, friendly staff, free gym, good wi-fi, secured underground parking garage (extra payment). The hotel provides you towels for sunbeds around the swimming pool area.

Full breakfast is expensive, however, express breakfast for 7 eur os available (juice, coffee, pastry). Location is a bit far from the city beach and city center, however, close to the port with many restaurants.

A well situated hotel in St. Raphael, most of the staff spoke English, the rooms were excellent and the air conditioning was very much appreciated as the weather was very hot. The pool facilities were great, and families catered for. Hotel bar and restaurant was good, usual continental breakfast but lunch dinner menus were excellent. A bit on the pricey side, but to be expected in the south of France in july!

Not that many things to complain about to be honest, a little bit pricey but to be expected.
