A charming hotel and fabulous location. The hotel is right in the heart of Saint Remy with bars and restaurants on the doorstep and walking distance of the whole town. Lovely pool area with plenty of sun loungers and a pretty courtyard area where you can relax with drinks in the evening. We had a nice room with a big shower, separate toilet, and very comfortable bed, as well as a small balcony overlooking the courtyard with a table and chairs. There was also parking (chargeable daily) which was an added bonus and is just a short walk away. Everyone who worked there was warm, friendly, and helpful. We wouldn’t hesitate to return and would definitely recommend.

The staff at the front desk, from morning to night, were without exception friendly and helpful. The staff in the bar/breakfast room were exceptionally friendly and helpful. The young woman who worked in the salle à manger (from northern France, une Ch'tis) for breakfast was particularly gracious and welcoming! The location of the hotel could not be better for a walking visit around and through the centre ville de Saint-Rémy!! The hotel interior is classically elegant and comfortable!! My wife and I have stayed in many French hotels in many areas of France over more than 3 decades and would not hesitate to go back to this hotel for a truly unique and warm French experience!!

I did not like having only 2 nights to stay at this hotel in Saint-Rémy. I did not like leaving. I do not like that it may be a few years before I'm able to get back!!

We liked the hotel and the location. The decor was very smart and eclectic. The swimming pool was great and the bar was fabulous. Breakfast was delicious and plentiful. The staff were friendly and very helpful.

We would have liked to be told that there was a horse and bull festival going on which would make it hard for us to get into the hotel. A journey of 15 minutes took us 1 hour and 45 minutes as all the car parks were full and there was a barrier between us and the hotel.

- Hire an extra person for the restaurant. English speaker would be a plus - please add more motion activators for light in the hallway. I stayed I room 25 and when climbing the stairs at night I tripped and almost broke a leg because I couldn’t see anything - tiny room

The hotels meets expectations. Tiny rooms are furnitured from everything they could collect around and very noisy. The bathroom and toilet are inconvenient. But the people working there are marvelous, the breakfast is tasty ant the lobby interior is inventive. All together make a feeling of real French hotel as it was 40 years ago. The hotel is surrounded by numerous bars and restaurants, where people are just sitting and enjoying the life. You can do it as well. It is priceless.

This is a gorgeous historic hotel that has been recently renovated. The rooms were big and very comfortable, the staff were lovely - super friendly and helpful with lots of local advise. It is walkable to everything in St Remy, but equally, it is so lovely you might just want to enjoy being in the hotel..... would highly recommend

This is a wonderful Hotel in a small&old building ; the decors and ambience are great , the garden is a beauty ; This place is very easy for walking to places of interest , small shops and many excellent restaurants in town ; the staffers are polite and helpful.

The room(2) is small - understandable though ; and there is no elevator , we had to carry large luggages up to 3d floor , which is quite a work for 60+.

The entire experience. The hotel staff namely Heidi were very attentive and quick to help with every request. Our room was very spacious with a small terrace and powerful AC. The bathroom was nicely done with a powerful shower and effective hairdryer. The pool is a great place to relax during the day and location makes it easy to get to the best bits of the town. Would definitely recommend to a friend.

Staff was very helpful and friendly. Room was well appointed, very clean, and comfortable The only minor issue was a strange odor - kind of a musty smell. I opened the windows in the afternoon to air the room out, but after I closed the windows, the odor came back. I did bring it to the attention of management the next morning. They apologized and said they had just re-opened the hotel for the season, so it might have been because of that. I would ask to change rooms if I ever stay again and encounter that odor. Hotel was very helping in arranging parking for me, giving me good directions to go park my car, and in setting up a dinner reservation for me. Overall a good experience. Just stayed one night.

Great location, charming facility, friendly & helpful people, the decor.

The different levels in the room without a night light was inconvenient. This is a personal peeve, not at all indicative of the level of service (which was quite good) here, but, if I’m paying over €200 per night, can’t a hotel include coffee in the morning with that price?
