We’ve enjoyed our stay at this hotel enormously, to the point that we’ve also enjoyed our only dinner there. The landlady was warm and welcoming, and the hotel staff very kind, helpful and professional. The room was larger than we’d expected, clean and equipped with airco, which is always good news in the summer. The breakfast buffet was rich in both sweet and salty food, there was everything you needed to kick off the day on the right foot. We’ve particularly appreciated the atmosphere of this place: the walls and even the dinner menu were full of portraits depicting the French emperor Napoléon Bonaparte, it all looked very French 😊

The lady at the reception was very nice. The views from the rooms. Everything was clean.

they are old rooms, but ok. Even that it is 10 min from Grasse, the road was not fantastic. But it also had its charme. I didn't know this before booking. But we enjoyed our stay there.

Authentic charm with family business vibe. Big and comfortable beds, friendly staff and very generous breakfast.

Back then Napoleon passed through on a horse, nowadays expect motorized transport of fellow tourists to be be heard from your room.

This place has a home-like feel to it. It is very nicely decorated, the staff is exceptional and very pleasant. The view from the windows is awesome. There is a free town parking lot nearby, so it was easy to find a spot. The restaurant had decent prices and had tasty food and good service. The shower had hot water and all the needed towels and soap. Lot's of natural light in the room. A/C was ok. The room has a good working fridge too, we were able to fit four 1,5 liter water bottles in it. The room was cleaned during our stay, and the towels were changed.

The electrical outlets were weirdly located, there is no plug next to the bed. The room was only quiet when we had no neighbours, but when we have heard someone checking in next to our room, oh we have heard it. And apparently they could hear us talking too, even in quiet voices, because they knocked on the wall in the morning. Pillows were not comfortable: one was very thin and clumpy, the other was ridiculously high and thick. It was hot to sleep even with A/C on.

I was lucky enough to get a same-day booking on a summer Friday night as it was pretty much the only available place in the entire south of France. There are two free public parking lots right next to the hotel. The hotel itself is filled with Napoleonic memorabilia, which will appeal to history lovers. Check-in was easy and quick and the staff spoke decent English. Breakfast was OK. The property has a lovely parrot and a dog,. Although some sections are bit dated/worn, I believe it's nothing out of the ordinary for small French hotels. Two blocks away from the hotel you'll find a lovely elm tree where Napoleon took a rest, opposite his bust.

The room was a bit on the smaller side (large luggage will take up most of the available space) and the room wasn't sparkling clean, as there was a bit of dust in some sections of the room. The elevator is located on the second floor, which means you'll have to go up a flight of stairs with your luggage.

Nice building, nice town, good for a stop-over.

The lady receptionist was a bit inpolite during my check in. The room is so small that the bathroom door couldn't even open. Small shower. Paper notes everywhere. A bit overpriced in my opinion, but I had a good night sleep and that's the most important.
