We enjoyed our stay at the Appart Hotel & Spa La Villa du Port.The appart Hotel is only a 5 minute walk into the old town of Vannes, so it's in a great location. We stayed in a one bedroom apartment which was simply, but nicely furnished. It faced the rear of the property overlooking the spa and seating area. I would recommend that you ask for an apartment overlooking this area as otherwise your balcony will be facing the street and the disused building opposite. The bed was a good size and comfortable. We used the free carpark opposite which has 110 spaces so that was very convenient. NB - it can get very busy! The spa was very nice and relaxing after a day of sightseeing but the water is quite cool. Far cooler than other spas we've used. The seating area by the spa is nice too.

We stayed in apartment 7 and there wasn't a toaster or sharp kitchen knives for slicing/cutting bread, tomatoes, cheese etc or a cheese grater. These items would be very useful for guests Just to keep the shower room looking nice, I would suggest that the grouting at the bottom of the shower is cleaned/ regrouted as it now has mildew so doesn't look so good.

The place is a bit further from the main town area, but that makes it super quiet. All rooms seem to have great views. Our room was modern looking, but still with lots of character!

The air conditioner didn't seem to work. The temperature of Vannes was still cool enough, but this might be a technical issue.

Stayed for 3 nights. The location was great, in the pleasure boat marina, next to the river path and only a 10 min walk to Vannes. On checking in the host was very knowlegeable and helpful about the area and provided maps. The room had an small adjacent terrace for unwinding in the fresh air. I used the private secure parking option which for 10 euros per day was worth the peace of mind.

No problems, would come back again. As a suggestion for improvements it would be useful to have an iron and ironing board available.

The apartment was really clean, modern and spacious. The beds were very comfortable and the staff at the reception was super friendly and helpful. We appreciated the free parking at 2 minutes walk from the hotel.

Everything was great. We really enjoyed our stay. If something, maybe we would have appreciated having a washing machine in the apartment.

Rooms were clean and tidy. Staff were very helpful. 5 - 10 minutes walk into town along the marina, very picturesque

What wasn't there to like, nothing

Excellent and very comfortable room, with kitchenette, Senseo coffee maker (with a few pods supplied to start you off), dishwasher, combi oven, and very comfortable beds including the sofa bed. Great location, just 5 minutes' walk to the main center. Friendly staff! And bonus huge hot tub that my children thought was the best pool!

A very clean, comfortable, quiet apartment extremely well run. Friendly and competent receptionist. Secure private parking. A nice walk along the quay into the beautiful city of Vannes. Thoroughly recommended

Beautifully renovated hotel with lovely rooms. Mine overlooked the courtyard/pool area and had a nice little balcony. Nice showers and a tiny kitchenette with all the essentials! Really nicely done!
