The rooms we booked were nice and roomy and very comfortable. We spent night so that we could go to Giverny in the morning. We didn’t book breakfast, but changed our minds and it was very good. So glad that we found this hotel.

Honestly, it was perfect for our trip. Perhaps a negative for some would be parking. We did have a rental car and just had to find public parking on our own. We fortunately found a lot close and since it was after hours the meters were off and back on the next morning at 8am, so we did not have to pay. I don’t remember the prices exactly, but if we had parked during pay hours, it wasn’t that much.

Warm welcome, room size, an already reserved parking (although we didn't need to use it thanks to availability at the public parking just besides the hotel). The hotel is situating exactly at the center, at very short walk distances to restaurants and the river side. We had aimed Vernon for a next day visit to Giverny, which is at around 5-10 min distance by car. We recommend arrival to Vernon not later than around 19:00 hrs if you want to benefit from nice restaurants nearby. We think that we stayed at the best hotel in Vernon, and we can sincerely recommend it to others.

The location was good. Staff very helpful. We enjoyed hiring bikes to cycle to Givency. Time was taken to ensure we were happy & that the bikes were safe with the seats at the correct height.

Breakfast - I prefer coffee to be freshly made and served rather than having to use a coffee machine. It would have been nice if local cheeses had been on offer.

The property was quite old, but in very good condition and nicely decorated. Staff were friendly and car parking was easy, albeit at a small charge. Breakfast was also good. The location was very central.

Despite the refurbishment that had obviously been completed recently, it was a pity that air conditioning had not been installed. It was very hot during our stay and the fan provided was only moderately effective, and just circulated the air in our room.

The room was spacious and attractive. The staff was very helpful and professional. Location, the best. We had dinner at the hotel one night: interesting choices. Recommend. There was a jazz trio playing which made is pleasant. The hotel has parking for a fee, worth every penny.

The one thing I did not like was the toilet being in a separate room from the rest of the bathroom. Far away, too. Difficult to wash hands, etc. after you use it. It is cumbersome.

located next to river and walkable bridge to some historic structures on other side. located in a village square with several restaurants and two blocks from a larger square with a Monoprix, grocery store, bank, restaurants. 15 min walk from train station if you have little luggage and can walk that far. the bridge mentioned takes you across to Giverny village where Monet’s house and garden are couole miles away on the right.

Recently refurbished to a very good standard - almost perfect but not quite - possibly ran out of ideas regarding the ambience of room and en suite. Room quality though is very high; no complaints at all. For UK guests though, at least the BBC News Channel would be a welcome addition. Do the French even watch some of the rubbish shown by Canal whatever ?

I didn’t like the miserable receptionist whom we had the misfortune to meet on our arrival. He didn’t seem to want to be there. Oh, we’ll.

Excellent central location, in an interesting and historic town. Hotel gave excellent service and wonderful dinner and breakfast. The bonus was secure parking in the underground garage. The room was spacious and comfortable. There were excellent walks nearby along the banks of the River Seine.

Not that keen on a separate Toilet from main bathroom, particularly it lacked a small wash hand basin; rather inconvenient.

This really is a top star place in this charming town that is the best starting point to visit the famous garden at Giverny. There is a shuttle bus there and back or you can even walk along a cycle track. This hotel has got all the facilities anyone might need or expect and the reception people and others are all charming.

Nothing to fault.

The staff were very gracious and helpful. The room was large and well appointed (separate sitting area). We stayed 4 nights, and enjoyed the meals and location - close to Giverny and to the train station.

It would have been nice if there were air conditioning. The desk fan was working overtime at night.
