This is where I always try (depending upon availability) to stay when I'm flying out of Frankfurt (about45 minutes train). It has a great location, not only near the train station but the river and old town. I love the old German look with modern conveniences. I've stayed in several places in Aschaffenburg over the years. while all have been fine, this is the best

Excellent location near the Schloss. Easy walk to restaurants. Parking area in the courtyard saved time and money. Herr Hopp and the staff were gracious and helpful. We had the best room in the house.

The best room in the house is up four flights of stairs which were a minor inconvenience for those of us past the first flush of their youth.

The friendly staff and the most delicious breakfast at this hotel are definitely the highlights. Coffee brought directly to your table, crispy bacon and fresh eggs, variaty of hams, cheeses, jams and cereal for every option =) The minifridge and a kettle in the room were also a big help. Conviniently located.

It's an old, historic building, so there are some stairs to conquer ;)

Spacious, tastefully decorated and furnished room (recently renovated) and modern bathroom with excellent shower. Very good location, just ten minutes' walk from the centre and good links to the autobahn. The breakfast was outstanding.

You need to arrive early to get one of the limited number of parking spaces ( 7 euros per night).

I was travelling through Germany and had to make a night break - I could not find anything else in Aschaffenburg. The hotel is lovely, old style, kind people. Everything was good, also the restaurant except...

the restaurant prices were, possibly I am spoiled living in Vienna, for me unexpectedly hefty.

A perfect location in a beautiful old building, with Schloss Johannisburg around the corner. Pompejanum can be reached by just stepping out of the door and having a short walk through the park in front of the hotel. A little heaven in Aschaffenburg!

Location was great for access to the town and only 5 minutes walk to the main station. We did not have the breakfast as we had a 7am train to Frankfurt

Would have liked to have accessed the room earlier. 3pm I felt was a little late

The location to the train station was great, 2 blocks away. There’s good air conditioning. Good size room. Very good breakfast. Friendly staff.

Carrying heavy luggage up a couple flights of stairs makes me wish there was an elevator for arrival and departure, but it’s a small complaint.

The receptionist made our stay really enjoyable. The hotel is located near a big castle with a very nice park, so we could enjoy evening walk there. The breakfast was also very good with a lot of choice.

Really nothing.

The room was very comfortable with lots of space. the location was great and we were able to enjoy the May Day celebrations in the main square. It was close to great restaurants and everything was within walking distance.
