I have never felt more welcome at the end of a long journey than I was at this hotel. Nestled in an Altstadt on the site of Bad Arolsen, the hotel is meticulously clean & optimally comfortable. The entire staff demonstrates a hospitality that is, at the same time, consummately professional and genuinely courteous. My 5 day stay in a King suite provided me with the privacy I needed for my work. This is a place for clearing one’s mind, journaling, walking and meeting people from all parts and regions of Germany, and beyond. I give it my highest recommendation.

The respectful, courteous and well trained staff —— reception, restaurant, and housekeeping. The location. providing invigorating , pure, fresh air to soothe persons such as myself with an orchestra of predawn birds singing guests into each new day.

We were very happy with the hospitality to our accompanying furry friends. There was a basket with pillow and in the bathroom an food and water bowl. With a little snack, which was deliciously eaten. Opposite the main entrance is a lawn for dogs including bags. The trashcan took a while to find but we threw it in the cigarette waste bin next to the main entrance. The rooms are nice and comfortable. The beds were very nice and we slept very well, so comfy. The minibar was included. The electronics are very modern and that took a few minutes to figure out how to operate the lights. But very nice. The breakfast was also includes, it was very extensive and tasted good. We will definitely recommend this location for a relaxt, comfortable stay (with or without dogs).

In front of the main entrance (inside or outside) a water bowl for the dogs. The prices for dinner are a bit higher especially for the starters and desserts. Nevertheless, we had a delicious meal. A carafe of tap water would be a good addition, same goes for another vegetarian main course (now you have no choice as a vegetarian).

Although this hotel was booked while traveling, it was a nice surprise of the country side. When entering and seeing the facilities you start to imagine if it is a wedding location. And yes this is a place where weddings happen. This also implies a comfort, luxury and good food. And I can affirm this is the case. The rooms are technologically advanced, has a better bed than I have at home and bathroom has a large shower and senses new. Dinner at the hotel was also very good. Sweet potato mash with colourfull carrots and veal was perfectly balanced in sweetness and savoury. Furthermore, breakfast was plentifull and served a lot of choices. An other plus side is the location, the nature surrounding the village invites you for long walkes, as does the castle invite you see the history of it all.

The only thing I could remark on this hotel, was the impossibility of booking another night. For it was completly booked for the entire weekend. And yes it is a silly remark, but I knew what I would encounter I would have planned a longer while in this place I hope to return to in the not to distant future.

If you have travelled a bit, it is hard to find a place which impresses you. This hotel absolutely did! We have been looking for a place where we could stop over on our trips to the East and we found this place by accident, at the last minute. What a find! We stayed in 2 different rooms, both beautifully furnished with designer items, super clean with everything you need and more. The breakfast was one of the best I had in Europe. Dinner was very good as well. It is in a wonderful old village on the top of the hill, so we had most amazing view from our room. There are also great walks and a big clean lake in the area. We were only going to stay for 1 night, but decided to stay for one more as we absolutely loved this place. It is so nice to see that a hotel of this class is able to accept pets so the whole family can enjoy the beautiful place together.

Beautiful hotel in a quiet little town surrounded by gentle hills and fields. I was looking for something close to the Autobahn and Kassel where we were headed the next day. The room was great, bed and sleeper sofa were comfy. Staff was friendly and it was perfect in every way. We also had a great dinner at the restaurant and the breakfast buffet which was included the next morning was phenomenal!

Everything is of TOP quality. Linens, furniture, beds, bathroom amenities, breakfast…amazing price/value offering. I would definitely stay here again, and would go out of my way to come to the Brunnenhaus Schloss Landau. Congratulations to the owner for having such a great hotel!

Plenty of free parking spots were available. Dinner at the hotel restaurant was great. Overall, the hotel was very modern, clean and felt like a high-quality accomodation. The surrounding village of Landau, though, has no grocery stores or restaurants of any kind, so better come by car.

An (indoor) pool would be the cherry on top of an otherwise fantastic hotel.

Room to small for two persons Wadrobe to small for 2 persons especially if you are two ladies and you stay more than 2 nights The restaurant is a little cold (even it is wood all over) maybe some plants would make it more "cosy"

This place is amazing! One of the best hotels, we have ever visited. A beautiful hotel in an old building rebuilt and redesigned in such a magnificent way. Extremely serviceminded staff, a good restaurant and wonderful breakfast. We chose the hotel for one night travelling through Germany - but from the first minute we wished, we could have stayed longer.
