Wow wow it's beautifully furnished n presented. The rooms are gorgeous and there's almost everything you could want in there. Breakfast is superb, with all the usuals and much more.. Eg.. Smoked salmon, trout and mackerel, champagne flutes for the prosecco, a juicing machine with a basket of carrots, ginger etc A machine to juice oranges freshly. Hot bacon, sausage, scrambled eggs.. Etc Yummy The staff were so friendly and courteous. We arrived on our 2 motorbikes and apparently they don't charge for motorbike parking. We felt they were safe in the spotlessly clean garage directly under the hotel with lift access.

As with all hotels the world over there is hardly ever enough tea milk and coffee in the rooms. The milk is almost always in little UHT capsules, i do wonder why there can't be more (proper) milk in the fridge/mini bar and why there aren't more normal tea bags. But i guess we are yorkshire folk at the end of the day and to us a nice cuppa is what we like and not some fancy chamomile or green tea!! ;-)

We had two rooms: A classic room which was very nice and comfortable. The other room was more expensive, I think it was called a "comfort superior room". That room was beautifully designed, but there was little thinking about the comfort of the guests: it was impossible to turn on or off the lights in the bathroom, everything was automatic. The TV in the mirror looked beautiful but wasn't very practical. If you wanted to close the shutters, the switch was not next to them but right opposite. In short: 10 for design, but only 7 for comfort. The breakfast was very good.

We had dinner at the hotel, and asked for a bottle of tap water and not bottled water, for environmental reasons. We made it very clear. We were happy to get water in a jar, for the first time, in a restaurant in Germany Our joy turned into bitter disappointment when, at the end of the dinner, we were asked to pay EUR 5 per liter of this tap water When we complained, we were told that the jar had "special stones that purified the water," and this is what we paid for. We approached the management several times, but they persisted these are the clear instructions of the manager.. It is really a pity that a hotel, which would we otherwise recommend, would needlessly disgrace itself in such a way. We did not have dinner there the following night, for that reason

Room was very modern, many surfaces covered in mirrors to enhance the light, but very comfortable and well equipped. The bathroom was unusual, with a built-in seat, but perfectly functional. The buffet breakfast was fairly predictable but very good. The underground parking was bright and spacious and had very good access to the hotel.

I have nothing negative to report.

The decoration is really pretty and the hotel very welcoming. The staff is smiling and helpful. The room is cozy and clean. The bed is confortable, had a good night. I didn’t have the chance to test but had a glimpse at the gym and sauna and these are great to have in an hotel. The breakfast was great with many things available and pretty well cooked. The parking is not free but is very spacious and feels secured.

Only little thing I could say is that two beds together for one person is not the best but it was okay

Words fail to describe how perfect this hotel is. The room we stayed in was like nothing we have seen before. The walls and ceiling were covered in design finish that was immaculate. Everywhere storage spaces were included and the feeling is that of absolute luxury. The bathroom had a separate toilet with it’s own sink. The shower is spacious, built for two people. The TV was built into the mirror wall. Everything was super modern, yet still warm and cozy. The breakfast room /restaurant has a great view over the town and has a very luxurious feeling. The finishing of the room is most elegant. By far this is the best none-five-star-hotel we ever stayed in. We will be back to enjoy the hospitality, comfort and luxury. They have a spacious parking garage, but you might be able to park on the street for free. And you are just a crossing away from downtown. Bad Wimpfen is a lovely little town, with many historical buildings. We enjoyed the walk around a lot. All in all a perfect stay!

Lovely hotel, in beautiful old town of Bad Wimpfen. Great rooms, nice styling, very clean and spacious. Restaurant's indoors and outdoors, and in the Cellar bar are great. Staff are friendly and helpful. Sauna is beautiful.

Gym size and equipment is a limited, but anyway its nicer to be outside for a run around the town and along the river!

The staff are obviously very versatile and experienced. They answered/resolved all of our questions in both english and spanish. The small tavern downstairs serves wonderful food and drink. We enjoyed steak, goulash, landbier, and several glassed of Rot & Wild. Also great service. Hasta pronto!

The hotel was exceptional in every respect. The rooms were modern and clean, and well equipped (nice shower, excellent lighting, lots of plugs and storage, roll-shutters for the windows). Location was also exceptional, being only about 150 metres from the old town.

Neues Tor is an excellent hotel with clean, modern and spacious rooms. The bathroom is extraordinary, very spacious and comfortable. The staff is professional and caring. This is a Bett & Bike property and features great bicycle parking with E-bike charging stations. The courtyard seating for drinks, dinner and breakfast is peaceful, and both the food and service very good.

Spent 3 nights in the Hotel Neues Tor, cutting over into 2023. Very kind and engaged staff, well equipped and clean room. Enjoyed great food in the restaurant and even more the excellent breakfast buffet every morning. Definitely a recommendation from our side :-)
