The room was large and comfortably fit 3 adults. The location was likewise good as the hotel was near tram stops and bus stops. We did not avail of breakfast but there were establishments nearby where we could buy breakfast. The staff was very helpful and we were advised regarding purchasing train tickets that were good for the duration of our stay in Berlin.

While we were there, the air conditioning was broken for the whole hotel. This was during one of the hottest days in Europe (there was a heat wave at that time although more in the south). We had to sleep with the windows open and that made us hear the noise outside our hotel. Luckily, it wasn't too hot during the night. I would have helped if the rooms were provided with fans.

The hotel staff were super helpful! I forgot to bring the block for my charger and they even had extras that they let me use for free. Just returned at the end of my stay. Also the reception staff spoke excellent English. Also, I had to walk to the train station to get the airport express (15 min walk from hotel btw) at 4:00 am in the morning, and despite the fact that I am a rather small woman, I felt completely safe! Not the most aesthetic part of Berlin, but seems like a family area, which made me feel safe.

The room was large, very big and comfy bed, room temperature was perfect. Fridge was useful and WiFi connectivity was easy to access and of good performance. Shower was working nicely, temperature of water very stable. Access to the premises was very good, with slope to help with heavy luggage. Comfy and wide lounge area. Very helpful drink dispenser. Water was also offered at the check-in counter for a fair price. Appreciated the ironing room that was well equipped.

The safe in the room was not usable. Also there was a bit of noisy neighbor, but this is not really responsibility of the Hotel management. The area is not very attractive, with only one type of restaurants... (Turkish).

Staff is very kind and helpful. Is located in an old factory of the 20's so is charming. It was clean and comfortable.

4 stars are made by small details and the Hotel is unfortunately not achieving it. Bottle Cranes against the Reception, door of the bathroom not closing, air conditioning making weird sounds and not working, too many pieces of paper information around the hotel which makes you feel more in a student complex, the carpet looks old and there is not even a kettle to prepare coffee / tea in the room. Restaurant and Bar are not open in the evenings contrary on what they offer. Location is good for Gesundbrunnen but not for the main locations as then becomes too far and too many changes in public transport. I am sure that if the Hotel invested in those small details and making it a bit more luxurious it will be charming.

The room was perfect for me and my boyfriend with both a fridge and a freezer, a microwave and a fan. Bed was very comfortable and it was nice to have a bathtub. The staff was very friendly and they even let us check out later when we asked for it.

The only thing i didn’t like was that you could hear people from the other rooms if they had their windows open, but i suppose there’s not much you can do about that other than close your own windows.

The location was convenient for various locations in Berlin, however there was not much in the immediate vicinity of the hotel for a family. Staff were friendly and the hotel was clean and tidy.

The hotel itself it seemed a little dated. The room I stayed in did not have central lighting and relied on lamps to light up the room.

The rooms were huge and beds were comfortable. The staff was especially helpful. Lots of stores nearby for groceries.

It was surprising that for such a fancy hotel and expensive, breakfast was not included in the price. also it was surprising that the rooms did not have a refrigerator or microwave. at least one should be offered in a common area.

The hotel is good and close to the middle of Berlin. I liked our room, it was tidy and pretty , the staff was very friendly, everything was organized and the response to requests was quick. When I go to Berlin again I will book in the same hotel

I stayed five nights in the hotel. the floor wasn't cleaned of dust well.

The room was large, clean and comfortable and in my opinion, reasonably priced. The staff were very helpful. There were enough options with the breakfast buffet to be able to have a nice breakfast. We paid for breakfast at the hotel rather than booking it in advance and saved 4 Euros per person, per day by doing so. So don't add breakfast to your booking.

The breakfast was reasonably good value for having paid for it at the desk (11 Euros) but would have been poor value had we booked it in advance at a higher cost (15 Euros). The fresh items were simple but very nice (yoghurt, fruit, bread, cheese, cereal etc). The cooked breakfast items had been sitting under food warmers for a long time and did not look at all appetising. Also the coffee came from a machine and was not very good. So this friendly, comfortable and good value hotel was let down by the slightly under par breakfast.
