We enjoyed our stay in Bremen at the Arthotel ANS Residence. We had a room in the main building and an apartment in the side building. The rooms were spacious and breakfast was very good. The buildings have a lot of character and Victorian charm. The apartment has a kitchen and small eating area. It is good for a take out meal or some cake and coffee, but it is not big enough for a family dinner. The hotel is close to a tram station abd goes directly to the University and to the historic city center. It was easy to get to from the train station. There is also a playground a short distance away. Our children enjoyed staying at the hotel and so did the adults!

We stayed in one of the apartments due to bringing our dog with us. It was extremely spacious with a nice lounge area. Breakfast was in the main hotel and it was truly excellent, cannot fault it! The staff were all very friendly and helpful.

The facilities were a little dated, and the hotel was quite hard to find (especially as there are 3 Art hotels in Bremen, we discovered!) The signage for the hotel does not make much of the word "Art", but instead focuses on it being the Renaissance. So we actually found it once and then drove off thinking that was not it. So better signange would have been a bonus.

This hotel is located very close to the train station, in a very beautiful residential area in "art nouveau" style. This area is very quiet even if it is not very far from the city center and the statue of "The Bremen Musicians". The buiding is actually historic and has a particular character and charm. My room and bathroom were spacious, very comfortable and elegant. The staff is extremely welcoming and friendly. At last but not least the breakfast is amazing!! There are so many delicious choices!! I've enjoyed eating scrambled eggs with cheese and tomatoes...before taking the train back to France! I hope to come back next year....

The hotel in Bremen is a short walk from the train station. The building is very charming with lots of details from the Victorian era. We had two rooms. One was a small hotel room in the main building and the other was an apartment in the neighboring building. We had breakfast in the morning and I highly recommend the breakfast. It had many local specialities and classic German favorites. There was also bacon and scrambled eggs. The apartment we stayed at was very impressive. The decorations inside were romantic and the kitchen was perfect for preparing a small meal for two people. I was staying in the room with my two children, which was also comfortable. We had plenty of space in the apartment and we ordered take out food and ate in the kitchen area. I thought the hotel was a very good price and would recommend it to anyone visiting Bremen.

The kitchen only had a small table for two people. It would have been nice to have had a bigger table to another table available to use in the dining room.

Nice and interesting location. Close to City and Main Station, good breakfast, nice staff at desk, very good taste for decoration, close to walk into a park

Invoices are a problem for the hotel. Personalized invoice for the guest is issued on the booking person, not on the guest himself. Complicated communication after stay. Creates a lot of complication for a business traveller. Very sad end of a good stay - and our reason not to book it again (for business trips).

Single room has the necessary facilities for one person: small table for work, heater, television with limited number of German channels, shelves and hangars for clothes. Bathroom is rather modern and spacious. It's also equipped with a heater. Friendly and pleasant hotel staff. Wide selection of food for breakfast including pickled herring and salmon, bread, cheese, ham, spreads, yoghurt, muesli, fruit bowl and vegetables. Variety of tea is also good and there is a coffee machine offering hot chocolate and caffeinated drinks. The hotel is located in a rather quiet neighbourhood that is only a few minutes walk from the Hauptbahnhof. A supermarket and park are located nearby.

The hotel is located right next to the train tracks so rail noise can be very loud. The sounds could be heard very clearly from my room 15 which was disruptive. Nevertheless ear plugs have been provided. There is no air conditioning, which may prove to be a problem during the summer months. There were cobwebs on the edges behind the bathroom door. There was also a spider on a ceiling edge of the room. There is no lift to reach the hotel concierge (but there is a lift within the hotel). If you are travelling with a luggage, be prepared to carry it up some stairs. This is only a small accessibility issue.

Very close to station. Staff very friendly. Clean and comfortable place. Value for money.

Would have been nice to have a kettle in the room (although no kettle is not uncommon in Europe). There are quite a lot of street people hanging around the back of the station that make the walk from the station a little disconcerting, however there was a security guard at the station entrance and we never had any trouble, and after a block from the station it was a nice residential area.

Loved the character of this heritage hotel and the lovely sunny breakfast room and the chandelier in the bedroom. Nice breakfast buffet each day with a good array of continental and cooked options to choose from. Well priced too. Incredibly convenient for railway station, city centre and also the festival centre and Berger Park. No. 6 tram stop almost outside the door which takes you all the way to the airport. Lots of pop stars have stayed here, some international and photos all over the staircase wall. There is no point booking into an anywheresville hotel if you want to truly sample a city. This is that special historic hotel.

We had separate mattresses in our room for our first night which is traditional in Germany. However we asked for a double mattress and were given one with extra pillows for the rest of our stay. Hard to contact them directly to advise of evening time of our arrival as need to be contacted through their sister hotel.

I liked the parque floors and lighting. It was a safe, quiet neighborhood except in the morning when schools started. The breakfast was outstanding! The location is great 👍

The one thing I didn't like was that there wasn't a safe . But the cleaners are local and trustworthy. They did a great job of cleaning, and I felt safe leaving my valuables there.

It's a nice place, close to the main station and to other interesting places in the center. The rooms are nicely equipped and the staff was super friendly. Breakfast was very good.

The only thing to take into account is that rooms close to the train railroad can be loud even at night. We experienced both because we stayed there twice here during the trip and there was a considerable difference. As of September 23 the area is not the most family-friendly one... the drug scene is unfortunately present in every second corner.
