It is a little town hotel, with everything you need for an overnight stay in Bremen. The rooms are not very big but they have everything you need to stay: towels, wifi, sheets.... It has a great value for money Also, although the reception opening hours are very limited, if you arrive at another time, there is no problem, as they deposit your keys in a mailbox and with a code you can access them. Finally, I would like to point out that the hotel staff are very friendly and have no problem in trying to satisfy any request you may have.

This little hotel is pretty good. It is not a 5 star hotel but that was fine. It is clean, it is comfortable and close to the town centre. The beds are comfortable, the showers were great and there was a kettle in the room and complimentary tea/coffee and chocolates. We arrived after the staff had left for the day and they sent us a code to use at the front door to get our key to access the hotel. We had booked 2 rooms and the staff gave us the keys and a choice of 3 rooms that we could choose from which was great and very thoughtful. I would stay here again.

It is a little hard to find the hotel and it is right above the kebab shop.

Located in walking distance to the very center. Parking house some 100m away. Grocery store Rewe some 200m away. Room included a nice little kitchen corner with all basic equipment. Very helpful staff.

The street may be noisy - drinking on the street goes on thru the whole night. Windows - when fully closed - are very good at isolating the noise ... but then you get no fresh air into the room as there is no ventilation system for air exchange. No problem though if you join the party yourself :).

The bedrooms are clean and comfortable and very quiet considering the hotel's central location. The location is very good: very close to Bremen's Altstadt centre and also within walking distance of the main railway station (for those travelling by train). For car travellers there is a nearby multi storey car park two or three minutes' walk from the hotel. The staff are very friendly and offer helpful advice on dining arrangements. I have no hesitation in recommending Hotel am Hillmannplatz.

This is not a major negative but could be a problem for the elderly and infirm: entry to the hotel is by a single doorway and a steep staircase.

The location was great, a short 5 minute walk into the main part of town. Staff were very friendly and were able to accommodate our late arrival. We didn't use the train station, however was only a few minutes walk from the hotel if needed.

We had a front room and unfortunately was very noisy on the first evening. We found a fan in the room and able to shut the window the second night, which made it much better. When shut the room was much quieter.

Location is ideal, walking distance to the train station, to the Metropol Theatre, to the Old Town etc. The staff was very friendly. There was tea, coffee, kettle etc. available. It was a basic room, nothing too fancy but had everything I needed

The room was a bit on the small side, but still value for money.

The hotel (and the city itself actually!) was a very pleasant surprise. The hotel is centrally located and very very clean. The manager was incredibly sweet and helpful with us. It's true that the stairs are narrow but I can assure you they will fit an average sized human with luggage easily. Would book again!

Small hotel in an excellent location in Bremen -- easy walk to the main train station, and almost adjoining a parking garage. Friendly staff, quiet area convenient to the tourist area. The kitchen was well-stocked, and there was a table a chairs for eating. The beds were comfortable.

There's nothing fancy about this hotel, but it was exactly right -- everything we are looking for in a hotel. Note that there is no elevator and the stairs are a bit steep, if that is an issue for you.

The location of the Hotel is perfect - Hauptbahnhof is at a walking distance and so is the AltStadt. In the neighborhood there is Rossmann, Rewe in case you need to buy some things. Lot of small bakery shops and eateries and restaurants are around the place. The receptionist and the staff are really nice and friendly.
