The hotel has a great location close to the city center and the train station. The room looked great and it was clean. It had new and modern furniture. The hotel staff was friendly. I found the luggage storage very useful, especially that I arrived early morning and I didn't have to carry my stuff with me until the check in time.

- At the end of my day when the cleaning stuff entered the room I noticed that the things were misplaced (the clothes were moved, portfard opened and put somewhere else) and some stuff were missing from the room (just some snacks and chocolate, but that is not ok at all). I don't appreciate appreciate people going through my stuff or taking them, no matter if it something valuable or just a chocolate. - The wifi didn't work.

I have stayed at this hotel since 2017. The room is good. It is a standard room for the economy class. For me, its location is the main reason for the hotel's choice. It is 5 minutes from the main railway station. The main shopping street is straight ahead of the hotel's entrance. Breakfast is available for an additional fee of 12.90 euros. The breakfast is good: sausages, bacon, crumble, boiled eggs, vegetables (tomatoes, cucumbers, olives), cheeses, yogurts, muesli, cupcakes, juices, coffee, tea, etc. The Wi-Fi is good. The hotel staff are friendly and well-willed.

Now, the cleaning service is only if you ask about it. It is not so convenient if you stay more than 4-5 days.

Great location within walking distance from central and metro stations, spacious and clean room and bathroom, helpful personnel.

The room had no air conditioning so the only way to have fresh air in the room was by opening the window, but as the room was located on the ground floor, on the street level, it was not safe to leave it open during the night. Also there was no mini fridge, so you could not have cold water in the room, something necessary especially during summer period. Other than that, we had a pleasant stay and would choose it again.

I liked the staff as I requested for a room change and the kindly front desk agent made the extra effort and changed us rooms without any complains. I also liked the location.

The vibe of the Hotel is a little spooky, not because of the cleaniness (they are very clean), but it seems its an old hotel and the it was a little scary.

Great location, easy walk to the centre and perfect for visiting the Christmas markets. Beautiful lobby and friendly staff. Family room (2 singles and a double) perfect for four friends. Great shower pressure and hot water.

Room was cold when we arrived as radiator was off, took a while to warm up, shower tray a bit too shallow so flooded floor if not careful. Hotel excelsior is within hotel unique, confused us and our taxi driver when trying to find.

Never had the time to check on the breakfast. The location though is great. You can get to the fare in a glimpse, as well as in the city centre.

Everything looked good. Rooms were legit and clean. Staff was polite and helpful. The decoration of the main hall was a little bit just like coming out of cold war Russian 5star hotel, still good though. Spot on!

The hotel is in a really central location and they have their own parking. So it was really convenient to stay here.

Overall the breakfast was good but one of our family members is gluten inteloretant and the hotel could not provide us with gluten-free bread and other food for breakfast.

The Woman and the Man on the front desk where very kind and always understanding.

They've forgotten to clean our room, even though we had hung up the green card. so we had to go to the front desk and ask for new towels...Next day, same problem...they, again, forgot our room. The next day we reminded them and the kind Man from the front Desk promised us to get them to clean our apartment, and it was perfectly done as we came back.

The location was ideal, everything you needed was within a walking distance. The room was better than expected and was spotlessly clean. The price was extremely reasonable for what was on offer.

Very little but if I had to say it would be noise outside the hotel but it is located in the city so has to be somewhat expected. An iron and some hand soap would be nice additions also.

the location was perfect specially if you are travelling by train. Hotel is designed in luxury style and for the price it was good surprise. Tasty breakfast, friendly staff.

you are not allowed to take pictures with camera even if there’s no commercial reason and you are taking pictures for your friends and the way we were notified about it was not that polite.
