I really liked the prompt communication and the electrified locking system of all doors. Just don't forget the smartphone on the other side of the door 😀 The room was prety, nice and clean, bed was very comfortable, curtain could very well shield the light from street lamp just in the front of the room window. And the fridge was a big bonus.

Little bit small room, I would prefer to know it in advance, one needs to ventilate the room more often. Just some suggestions for improvement, but I do not consider these significant: - I would also prefer some drinks for free suitable for pregnant. Not black and green tee or coffee, but cocoa from machine (was out of order) or e.g. mint or camomilla tea in the room. - Try to repair small damages sooner than they begin to be biger problem - thing that got damaged (little broken piece on a sink; water passing too slowly from shower floor) - Prevent damage of things by better placement (quick curtain pulling towards the bed lamp can cause lamp to be broken, or tea spilling tea pot can cause things wet and dirty)

Great self-check-in and checkout experience - no need to wait or speak to anyone. Your room is ready and you just check-in via your mobile. The rooms are clean and well-designed. There is an espresso bar (self-service) where you can get different coffee drinks, tea, or spirits. Near the place, there is a bakery, park and it is just 10 min walk from the central rail station and bus station. Erlangen is a must visit place. If I go to Nuremberg in the feature, I would probably stay in Erlangen again. It is much calmer, cleaner and nicer place.

The Kepos Hotel Erlangen is a very nice hotel, very clean with friendly staff. The room was nice, and the facilities like sauna and coffee bar are convenient and well maintained. Also, we were concerned since there is no reception but the digital system worked - since someone was available at the restaurant across the street!

When I called the hotel beforehand with concerns reg. the 'digital reception', the lady on the phone was very uninterested in my concerns - however, everything worked out well.

We liked the hotel so much that we decided to stay in it when we arrived in Erlangen for the second time. Were very satisfied! The entire staff is client-oriented, friendly and attentive: both managers and maids. Helped to solve even those problems that were not related to staying at the hotel. It's nice that the hotel respects its guests so much. Thank you! You feel at home in the hotel. What could be better?!

We did like the room very much. It was small, but very clean and comfortable. It was easy to make the booking and follow the instructions to check in and get the doorcode and keycard.

But it was a pity, we coud not have breakfast. And no private parking place, so we had to park in a street futher in and leave before 8.00 AM, because after that it was not allowed. And we do like it better when there is a person to meet you.

The staff was very kind and very helpful. The breakfast was really really really good. Very special food also including fresh fruits and berries. A suggestion: include pictures of the breakfast in the booking site! The breakfast was magnificent in your hotel :)

From my Finnish companions: more stones in the stove from the sauna and a bucket to throw water would be nice.

We practically liked everything about our stay, so much that we both thought it’s one of the best if not the best hotel experience we had. We ran into the manager who showed us the bar and sauna areas and told us more about the hotel which made us love it even more. it’s extra impressive/delightful to know that a woman masterminded the concept and everything about the place. the check-in system allowed us to open doors using our phones!! which was very cool and hi-tech, if you don’t want to, you can also program a card like other places. Everything in the room has a personal touch combined with obviously being of very high quality. the fridge and water boiler are very quite, the hairdryer in the bathroom is of great quality, just like everything else. you can also fix yourself a cuppa in your room or in the bar! Mrs. S. who runs the place impressed us a great deal with how helpful and uncomplicated she is. She seems to have invested so much passion into this, that reflects on the place! If ever in Erlangen again, definitely booking here!

immaculately clean, modern, homely and rooms are spacious. Had restful sleep as hotel is located in the university area about 10 mins walk from the city centre, and is quiet in the evenings. Sauna is great and coffee area/bar is really nice. Owners are very helpful.

parking can be difficult at certain times

This is a 100% robot hotel - not a single human person. However checking in, opening all doors, and everything else with the phone worked like a charm. A hint: even if you do not have cellular, there is an open WiFi right at the door that you can use with your phone. Beds, pillows were super-comfy. Room, facilities: A+. Sauna was excellent, essences provided, as well as sauna towels and bathrobes.

Breakfast is absolutely minimal: coffee, milk, cereals, yogurts. A toaster and bagels, or some baking goods, with jam and cream cheese would be welcome. I barely managed to turn on the sauna. The booklet says, use the touchpad on the opposite wall. But, it is not on the opposite wall, it's on the sauna wall but outside the sauna. What's worse, the touchpad was off, and I had to locate the breaker box, find that one toggle switch was flipped, and the turn it on. After that everything was smooth.
