Staff were very friendly and accommodating, the location was excellent and it was great value for money. The hotel is charming and has a good bike storage room.

The showers were showing their age and there was no shower gel/shampoo provided.

The large, upscale Waldow facility and the young, energetic Polish couple running it are good hosts, so I really wanted to give it a better score. Unfortunately too many problems.

Getting into bed ~11 pm, it collapsed in the middle. The cross-boards underneath the mattress were loose. I tried to put them back into place, but they didn't hold. Clearly a prior guest or staff person had failed badly in trying to fix this bed. I did get a new room quickly and the bed held. Then at breakfast, there was no normal black tea, only herbal and fruit teas. So I went back to my room to get a sachet always carried Just in Case. Lastly, at dinner (good though limited choice) and at breakfast the sound system is tuned to a radio station with disco rock music. Having breakfast with a pounding disco beat is not exactly a gentle morning.

I paid for 2 night 130 euro via booking.com. At the accommodation i saw with this price was 55 euro. I also saw for 65 euro there was the option with swimmingpool and sauna. The staff said for me it was not included and need to pay for 1 hour pool 7 Euro. The staff offered me to swim for free on day 1. It gives you not a warm welcome if you see this so please adjust the prices or welcome your new guests via booking.com. Otherwise i would have never found this place and you would not have a guest.

Had the last room of the building, No wifi was availeble and the room, I did report they told me to reset but nothing happend. the room was very near to a pond with frog's inside. The frogs croak all night in the pond. Also I had no soap to shower. I dried package without soap inside.

the value for money was not good. The hotel lacks character and charme and not what you would describe as a country hotel (railway tracks are just in front of the place)
