I chose this hotel for its location in the old town as I wanted to do a lot of sightseeing in a short space of time. It is a taxi ride from the main railway station. I arrived in the morning when breakfast was still being served and was allowed to leave my bag in reception. When I checked in and asked whether I needed to book a taxi for the following morning, the woman at reception immediately made a note to do that for me. At breakfast I was asked whether I wanted eggs and bacon cooked for me.

The decor was rather old-fashioned compared with the other Bavarian hotels I stayed in.

This hotel is lovely. Right in the old centre of Ingolstadt. A real traditional hotel but with a good level of comfort. The breakfast is good, freshly cooked scrambled eggs with bacon but also the usual cold buffet. The staff are all very friendly and helpful. The car park is fairly small but they manage to cram everyone in (and then miraculously get them out again in the right order!) I would definitely stay here again.

I would have loved an elevator!

Staff was super friendly and efficient. So helpful and polite. They made us feel so welcome. The breakfast was amazing. Perfect way to start the day.

Noise from the street below. Not the hotel's fault though. The location of the hotel is excellent but we stayed at the weekend and the bar across the street was open late so the noise was disturbing. Such a shame for the hotel as it's faultless in every other way

A very traditional Hotel with high standards. Service and the customer were very much looked after in this historic building, The Hotel escaped the attempt of trying something trendy, that is out of date in a very short time. Excellent smart TV. Breakfast was fresh, warm food served, and quick friendly service.

Sunday mornings in a German city are always challenging as everything is closed. Not the Hotels fault.

Good location on main square. Large room with comfortable bed. Good breakfast in old-fashioned but attractive dining-room. Secure car parking.

Room a bit dated. Really noisy drunk people walking past outside all night, maybe students, shouting, laughing, crashing into metal bins etc. Was a Friday night though....

Such a lovely, cozy and full of history hotel! Located in the city centre, personal was very helpful and friendly. Our room was very clean, big and nicely decorated with views to the main street. Super breakfast (live roses and lilies on the table). We enjoyed the sauna very much. Thank you for everything. Highly recommended.

A lift ito the upper floors is missing. At least we did not find it.

Breakfast was very good with a wide range of food available. Rooms were of a high standard of comfort and cleanliness. A marvellous location in the middle of the Altstadt. All staff were polite, helpful and with a high standard of English.

Nothing to complain about.

The location was great! It's right in the middle of everything. The hotel and rooms are clean and good sized. The breakfast staff were fantastic and very attentive. They seemed to enjoy their job and it showed. We felt very welcome and taken care of. The food was excellent and we really enjoyed the eggs to order.

We could have used air conditioning. It was hotter than anticipated that weekend. While that was nice for the visit; it was not so nice for sleeping. We had to open the windows, which let in all the nightlife noise from the street that went on until 0200.

The hotel has a great feel to it, the staff is helpful and very courteous, the rooms are clean and comfortable, and the breakfast buffet is truly magnificent. Also, this is hands down the best hotel in Ingolstadt in terms of location - it's smack in the middle of Theresienstraße, the main shopping boulevard of the city center, and things like the castle or Kreuztor are minutes away.

Because of the Covid pandemic, the hotel operates with reduced reception hours. In practice, this means that there's no reception after 7PM. Access to the hotel is still provided as you receive a key to the main entrance upon check-in, but you can't access the hotel's parking lot anymore - which means you'll have to look for another spot for your car if you plan on driving anywhere after 7PM.

The breakfast is very good, the staff is very caring, friendly Location is in the city center, easy to reach, rooms are very clean, overall a nice hotel...

The low ceiling bothered me, I didn't mind because of a week's stay...
