Excellent location only a few steps away from the Marktplatz, the centre of the town. Visitors should not be put off by the red light district at the other end of the street towards the water. It has no negative impact on the location at all. Parking was easy, there is a multi storey car park right across the hotel which we preferred to the hotel’s own facility. A bit pricey but safe. Breakfast was perfectly fine.

The basic room was very small, especially the bathroom. We will book a more spacious one next time.

Low sloping ceiling above bed definitely not for tall people over 5 foot tall. Banged my head several times. Annoying stairs to room since lift didn't go to 4th floor. Would have liked kettle/tea/coffee in room.

Would appreciate a small fridge in the room for storage of temperature-sensitive food / drinks. Would also appreciate a kettle and cups in the room to make hot drinks. (There are glasses for cold drinks, though. ) The shower door doesn’t seal completely, therefore one would have to be careful during shower to avoid wetting the bathroom floor. These are only minor points and by no means a deal breaker.

Very Friendly and helpful staff. Offered luggage storage as we arrived very early. Location very central in Alte Markt. Walk to cruise terminal and bus stops. Very good breakfast with a good variety. Overall very clean hotel. Don't be put off by the Strip Clubs in the street - no noise or disturbance at all.

Mattress on one bed was very soft. There was also a stain on the bedsheet. Receptionist did apologise & said she would take it up with housekeeping.

A reasonable hotel to stay one night in Kiel. The staff is very friendly and the breakfast is okay. A plus is the parking garage just across the street.

Maybe just a coincident but during the night it was very noise in the street. With the windows closed it was no problem to have a good night sleep.

The attention of the guy who served us was perfect. the room great. we spent another night in another hotel in Hamburg and nothing to see. we regret not staying another night in this Kiel hotel. All perfect

Modernized through but retains the quaint town look on the outside. Host was very personable and accommodating. Large room with normal comforts and great bathroom. Large delicious included breakfast and rate for stay was very reasonable.

I only wish the duvets were a bit bigger. They had nice, soft fabric but I am tall and needed a slightly bigger one. Made do with the two I had in the double room.

The bedroom and the bathroom were very clean. The furnishing was simple but the room contained everything you needed. The hotel was bang in the centre of the city and was very good value for money.

The combined shampoo/body wash in the shower was a no-no for me.
