Staff were very friendly, bed and room were very comfortable, and location was excellent for access to travel options and getting to anywhere in the city centre

Very specific and minor issue but for some reason the bathroom sink plug would get stuck sometimes but that really was the only downside I could think of

Location is in a few minutes walk from the train station, many bus options to reach places in the city. The room was very nice: the design, the facilities, cleanliness. They provide shampoo and soap, they also have hair dryer available. I didn’t use it, but they seem to have lockers to store your bags if you come earlier or leave later and do not want to carry all your luggage with you.

They do not have water, tea, kettle, cups in the room. I arrived late and supermarkets were already closed, would be really nice to get some drinks or snacks at least at the lobby if not provided in the rooms.

It was very friendly and welcoming entry, staff at desk very late for assistance. Views were exceptional. Access to Kiel Week was direct before the door. Quick access to the Bahnhof and to Sophienhof (for shopping and food) also. We were able to easily take the train to Hamburg for sightseeing. (Beware of upcoming trains strikes!) Also connection for the direct bus to the Hamburg airport with Kielius was behind the hotel.

As with many hotel rooms today, they use mattress covers that increase sweating. Also the covers were a bit heavy for the season. It was only possible to stay comfortable for sleep exactly as arranged by the hotel with the AC at 20C and using the duvets provided. It would be nice, again as with any European hotel, to have the option of a full double mattress instead of the split mattress set up. Instructions for the the coffee maker and and the dishwasher in English could be useful.

Nice spacious room with good facilities and ecological awareness obvious. Very convenient to the train station and taxis, but it is not the hotel on the corner nearest the taxi's. It is further down the road, a red brick building.

We were delayed by the train schedule and tried to contact the hotel by various methods, phone, text, email, but had no responses to any to reassure us they would be open after midnight, so we were stressed, not knowing if we could get in. The check in on the booking sheet should say open through the night to help travellers.

the great help we had with our disable brother- the kindness of the staff and their understanding/ willing to help and support special cases with disable people - such a great humain being behavior and professional way to act and support us ❤️❤️❤️ huge thank you again❤️❤️❤️ - the quietness - the closeness to the shopping center and harbor - easy access and parking for electric cars - it was a great stay for us. definitely to re stay there again when we come back to Kiel ❤️

too soft beds and pillows 😊

We were in the larger suite with kitchen for 5 nights … it felt new and really well thought out. I can’t fault it. The space was wonderful. The view was lovely. There was a lot of wardrobe storage for luggage and clothes. The fridge was huge. Coffee machine could also do hot water for tea. Lovely linens in the kitchen and soaps in bathroom which could also be purchased Location was perfect. Parking on either side of the building and train and bus station next door. 5 min walk to anything. Lovely cafe in lobby to purchase food. Contactless checkin and out was very easy and a lovely option. Our dog was very welcome although the search to find grass was fun.. 😉. Very friendly staff.

Perhaps because it’s so new there is more dust than normal but I was always dusting after coming back to the room and it didn’t feel like it had been vacuumed most days. By the fourth day I had ask. Housekeeping however were very lovely helpful people.

Outstanding. Just amazing. Bookingcom's pics. shows it all. No nonsence, the overall score is ten points, even if the bed was to soft for my liking/back. Early check-in at no extra cost and luggage storage for a few hours on the day of departure. Views to Kieler Förde and the Color-hordes that we were to join 28 hours later. Located near a traffic junction; five mins. to most buses, Fördefährlinie and Hbf, 15 mins. to the Color-terminal — walking.

What We did not like were all the e-mails in the days before arriving, asking/trying to convince us to check-in on the net. We tried and it took an awful long time, and we were asked for an awful lot of details. A waste of time, since it didn't work unless You had a printer at hand. Suspected of criminal assault; Pfishing, "fishermen" at work?! The ordinary check-in/out routines are completed by the front desk in the usual two minutes. Should have stayed longer.

I liked its location, convenience and facilities. In addition, the staff were most helpful and friendly. Two points which are comments but are not meant as criticism: 1. All the messages I received were in German but I don’t speak or understand it. (My next hotel sent me messages in both Danish, and English which is my mother tongue). 2. Full marks for the ‘green advice’ about saving water in the bathroom. However, many hotels have a policy that if you do not wish to have your towels/bath mat changed each day then hang them up as a sign to the room staff. Mine were changed each day even though they (in my opinion) didn’t need changing. All that said - a wonderful stay in Kiel: thanks!

Nothing to dislike!

The view towards the harbour is fabulous, especially when sitting on the long bench at the window. The toiletry products are qualitative and the room is clean. The common area next to the reception has a special flair, just like the Restez Unique cafeteria. The staff was always helpful, especially the ones from Restez Unique. Restez Unique itself is such a nice place and it has so many delicious stuff in their offering.

Nothing to complain, the hotel was actually one of the highlights of our trip to Kiel.

Location and arty, funky design Very comfortable beds and great bathroom

Kitchen could have been better equipped .. I would have expected a hot water jug, cork screw and bottle opener plus sufficient tea bags and milk/cream to make at least 2 hot drinks/person per day..There was only one teabag of black tea in the room and it was not replaced the following day. Coming from New Zealand, even 3 star hotels will have plenty of various teas, hot chocolate and milk in room.
