The location is incredible. Right in the historic part overlooking the river and the city in historic buildings that have been renovated. It's so cool to stay in an old watermill where you can see the gigantic wooden beams in the hallways and the old double windows. Everything worth seeing is literally 5-15 minutes walk away.

Staff is nice but very young and it seemed there was never a manager there to help guide them. They definitely could be trained more in clearer communications with guest. That's on management. Also, the rooms are in historic buildings so it's important to make sure all the windows work properly and stay open properly. That wasn't the

The Bergström is a beautiful hotel in a great Location in Lüneburg. The lobby and bar provide nice extensions of the room to meet friends or hang out. The room was large and nicely furnished.

Front desk staff were extremely helpful and friendly, however the bartender on the evening I was there seemed annoyed and for instance did not offer tastes of the wines on offer. The duvet on the bed was way too warm, and some fixtures in the bathroom were not properly repaired, so for instance the shower head would not stay at the right height.

Selection of buildings to choose from, friendly and helpful staff walked us to our room, room was huge with new bathroom, excellent air conditioning for a good sleep, massive bed, hotel opens out right into centre of beautiful little town, convenient parking, free drinks in room, quirky amusing signs

Fantastic location and excellent views, breakfast was a joy and the piano, guitar music in the bar was the icing on the cake!

We had bad luck and had to park at Karstadt but that was actually better than the hotel! The pool has a filter pump running 24x7 and that caused a harmonic hum in our room… solved by switching on the aircon

The hotel is very comfortable and well located. The town is pretty and clean. The room was very spacious and well maintained with a nice bath. Breakfast was both generous and varied. The dining room, overlooking the water, is very pretty. Overall this is a hotel which earns its stars.

thé location was in thé center of Town, Perfect for sight seeing and shopping, and restaurants.

parking was very limited, even though the hotel has two small parking garages and a few public parking spots in front of it. It took us an hour of driving around before finding a place to park.

Very good breakfast. The view over the channel fantastic. when eating. Good garage for parking in the cellar. Nice rooms, we were two couples and we all agreed this was one of the highligts in Lüneburg. We will return to this hotel when we stay in Lüneburg next time.

The location in the old town was great! The bed was clean and comfortable. Dogs welcome. Underground parking on site. Location was perfect for exploring the old town. Room views were fantastic!

Furniture was pretty dated.

Hotel surrounding is exceptional. Views from the windows in the room, the tower overlooking the hotel bar, and the proximity to all the main Luneburg attractions made our stay remarkable. The hotel stuff is professional and friendly.

This was exceptional surprising in everything - starting with the friendlyness of the staff, quiet, nice, really attractive in all.

That I was not able to stay longer - to be honest.
